Not so hypothetical question- If you were going to stay in an Orange County hotel for a month, where would you stay and why? Also, in this scenario you'd have a family of six and you wouldn't want to eat out every single day.

I had to stay at a Marriot Residence Inn when my room caught on fire, they have apartment suites with a kitchen. It was very comfortable and spacious. It was a 2 bedroom/ 2 bathroom suite, but you could possibly check to see if they offered roll away beds or if the couch converts to a bed. Hope this helps :) - Armenda  994.5 #89 1:17PM
2nd. Maingate. Only has 2 levels. Otherwise the elevator, in Garden Grove, becomes a pain to wait for the elevators - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  1799.2 #42 1:31PM
oh ok, of course I stayed at one here in Fresno. Not sure what OC offers. Thanks! - Armenda  994.5 #89 3:17PM
Rent an RV, Clark. - HotDiggityDogDaddy  1112.2 #74 4:23PM
I've driven into Washington in an RV. It is not an experience I'd like to repeat 😂😂😂 - Missshelly  690.3 #147 1:14PM
If there is an Extended Stay Hotel, you could check that place out. I'm pretty sure they can price you for 30 days and have mini kitchens, so you can cook meals in your room. Since HoJo is the MW hotel, maybe call and see if they can offer you a great rate for staying so long, in addition to the MW rate. Are you thinking of coming down for a month?? 😊😊😃 - DisneyFanZoe  1096.7 #75 1:28PM
Look for the hotels that come with kitchenettes for extended family stays.   - HotDiggityDogDaddy  1112.2 #74 1:28PM
Personally, I'd rather go to Canada where everything is beautiful! - HotDiggityDogDaddy  1112.2 #74 1:29PM

Thanks! I'll check those two out! H3D, you can come up and visit anytime. I'm always here though, so although it's pretty it tends to be a bit boring. Yes, we're trying to figure out how to stay for August. Vacation rentals seem to average around $6000 near the beaches so it's not an option to stay there! I just want to roam wild and free in the sunshine and go to DL more than 8 times (which is my current record). 😃 - Missshelly  690.3 #147 2:41PM
You might look at home exchanges, too. They tend to run less, and it means someone will be at your house... yes, there are pluses and minuses to that idea. Various different suites / extended stay places will give a serious discount for that long a stay. It's what my father in law did when he came home from heart surgery, since his house wasn't ok for him (stairs and no lift, then) when he first got out. - ThatKimberly  335.2 #452 2:51PM
Airbnb.com sometimes has places nearby. - LisaMouse7531  409.1 #317 4:47PM

Maybe try an Embassy Suites. They have a bedroom and family room, plus small kitchenette. And I think they all include breakfast buffet each day. - Mimmy  1405.6 #57 2:24PM
