I kinda wish I had a die hard Disney boyfriend lol
I have two musts when it comes to dating. He must first and foremost love the Lord...and secondly he must love Mickey! π - ohhhtoodles

P.S. After 2 years, I knew for sure he was a Diehard when he waited almost 6 hours with me for Fantasmic on leap day.. or he just doesn't mind joining my diehard-ness - MEHlanie_Mouse 750.0 #135 12:05AM

Haha a girl can dream. My hubby is not one at all. I share this passion with an old friend and I vow to make my children Disney lovers as well. But my hubby knew how much the park meant to me, he proposed there, had our honeymoon in addition our Hawaii trip there. Our Christmas tree is all Disney and shucks our wedding was Disney themed. So even though he's not a fan, he lets me have my Disneyland fix. :) good luck to you though! - adventurerEnDisneylandia {AED}

Sounds like my life. We aren't married yet but he knows I love the park. He doesn't mind entertaining the idea of having a wedding at the park for me. He says he just loves how I light up when I talk about it. Heck, he downloaded MW because of me and now he keeps me posted if I am not on often. - Viktorius 137.1 #2532 9:09AM
One of the things that I think makes my relationship work so well (tooting my own horn here but 6 years this year ) is that we have sepearte interests. While he may not love Disney as much as I do he still goes with me and while I am not a huge video game fan I will play with him. It's all about give and take :) - tiggertwin

Not to rub it in but yea a die hard bf is fun. It's like a partner in crime love type. But I think a family that is die hard Disney fans are better. I'd love for my Fam to be this way, I only had my Disney movies & dolls growing up..no Disneyland. Im te only fan in my fam, my family is sans Disney. But I got lucky with my bf &&& his familyππ life is good nowπ - gigibunny2

I will never forget about 5 years ago I met a really nice gal on a business trip and we would fly out to see each other a few times a month on the weekends and one trip she came out here I took her to Disneyland for her first time...I was so excited to show her around and so forth and she said....This is dumb maybe if we had little kids it would be fun but this is lame...so we sat at the cover for a few hours....That was the last time I had her out heree LOL - Dave

She missed the banana boat. Sucks to be her. - cynDOLEwhip 745.3 #138 11:37PM
Ouch, that's like a stab to the heart to hear that.. Seriously. I always asked dates what they thought about Disney.. Little did they know it was the difference between a second date or not. Such a deal breaker - ScubaSteve028 820.7 #115 11:38PM
Later on she posted she got engaged too! - madsdad 1209.4 #68 11:38PM
Disney fans are looked at in so many different ways....You just have to embrace it and be yourself about it and not let what others think about it affect you...I told a somebody I know yesterday where I was going in a couple weeks and I just said...yea, I'm a Disney nerd, I love Disney stuff and really love the themeparks..I said....Hey I could think of a lot worse things to be into then Disney and theme parks...its not easy to meet others that have that same common bond which is why I think MouseWait has been so great..We all can really feed off eachothers love for Disney and the ThemeParks...Its an outlet for us who want to talk about Disney 24/7 and not get looked at cross eyed... - Dave 8821.7 #2 11:56PM
In all seriousness i agree with that, my disney fixation has made me a better person I think. - madsdad 1209.4 #68 11:58PM
Good thing you found sooner than later! LOL!!! She will never know what she isissing! - Boundin 427.8 #301 12:11AM
I agree with Dave I get made fun of so much by some family and friends but there are worse things I could have been addicted to. Mw has been such a blessing I have bonded with lots of wonderful people in a few months on here than with the people I've known for years. - lilo84 374.5 #376 12:16AM
Tell me about it I have to drag my wife to go the good thing we have a little boy thats 6 months old so when he gets bigger we are going go together! - Tron2012 12.4 #6275 7:38AM
Eeekk!!! I'm a bit more discrete about it bc my family is that way about Disney. Especially my sister unless she goes every 6 years or so. My lesson was learned by them. But yep that's the reason my parents never liked taking me to DL. - gigibunny2 242.7 #1099 8:40AM

Also not bragging, just sharing that dreams really do come true. When my BF and I started dating 2 yrs ago, one thing that sealed the deal was when we confessed that we both had APs. We've found more magic in DL together than ever before! βΊ - florafaunamerryweather
16.9 #5497 1:42AM
My bf who is a full time single dad could care less for DL... Yet his lucky young kids have visited WDW a couple times with their aunt. My adult son and I have AP and visit quite often...bf has only attended twice with us. On a recent visit I bought his 5 yr old Snow White red glitter shoes. My bf doesn't understand my love of shoes or Disney... His daughter loves her shoes and even cried when she couldnt find them one morning! She is a princess. While he may not be a die hard fan or a prince charming, he respects my love of Disney and shoes...I'll keep him because he has connections to get my son and I into Club 33! Maybe after our club 33 experience, he will be converted into my loving DL prince charming! Good luck! - verofern

I do too! But it's fine if he's not. I really want my prince charming to be a nice, honest guy. If he likes Disney it's a huge plus but I'm not expecting him to be a die hard fan like me. Lol - princessmichelle

That isn't necessarily a good thing. My ex is a big sci-fi/comic book person like me. You think it would have worked out. However, he didn't like me knowing a lot more about the stuff than him. I also have a collection that eats his collection for breakfast. - Lelundrial

When my hubby and I were still dating we had to drive 17 hours with 4 chihuahuas and 2 of our dogs to Anaheim. We went to DL from open to close and then shopped DTD till it closed. We immediately drove back to Oregon with only a small nap in the car to make it back to work the next day. Before we even got home he said..."I want to go back to DL!" Yup. He's a keeper. - Fanatic4Disney

I don't have a per say "die hard" Disney boyfriend but he comes pretty darn close! He's the best man I could ever ask for! He goes with me and loves it as much as I do! He's also an avid vinylmation collectors so it's fun to see him get excited about it! Maybe one of these days I'll get him to join MW!! But until then I have found a good one who loves Disneyland almost as much as I do!!! ππ - CourtyAstroBlisters
