Ok I need help does anyone have ideas of how I can convince my mom to go with us to DL. The plan for years was all of us to go now her health has gotten worse. She's on oxygen and her allergys get the best of her which makes it even harder to breath. I need something that's going to make her want to go. I've had her look at videos on iTunes ideas of her flying first class. I've gone over all the rides with her. She is 71 and grew up in Cali went a lot after it opened. So what could convince her to go? It breaks my heart that she now doesn't want to go this was our dream after my dad left her.
Get the old Dland pictures out and start looking at them with her - Mouse4life

This ^^^^ but also play some of the MW radio for some of the music from the rides at the park while you look over the pictures. - Donaldfan_532

Why not tell her how much it would mean to you. Remind her of the dream to go. If all else fails tell her that the memories that will be made will last a life time. - MissyluvsDisneyland

I really hope she does decide to go, but it may be best to have a backup plan in case she doesn't. It sounds like she mIght be really uncomfortable at the parks, and I know you don't want that. Definitely check with Dr. Baz, and see if the time you were planning to go would be good for her allergies. If she is absolutely not going to cone around to the idea, you should still go and have a good time. Maybe take a camcorder and have the characters record messages for her. - LittleAprilShowers

I like that idea if I can't convince her - onbraudway 5.6 #9638 9:53AM
My mom isn't in very good health, but we brought her in March. (She's not on oxygen, but has chronic asthma, stamina issues, arthritis, and had a badly sprained knee when we went.) We rented a scooter for three days from Mobility Source, and she very much enjoyed it. She was able to go at her own pace, and wasn't tired out or uncomfortable at all. Maybe suggest renting a scooter and explain how much easier it will make the trip? - jmgphx

She knows about the scouters she has a high school friend who I believe her husband works at DL or did. The flight also scares her but driving would take too long. - onbraudway 5.6 #9638 9:55AM

I have told her how much it means but it doesn't change a thing. I think I only have a small chance to change her mind I just got to find what that one thing would be to change her mind. Kinda bad but I'm usually good at menipulating my mom. But for good not for bad - onbraudway
