Does anyone know if they will be changing the height requirement for the Matterhorn once it reopens? The site still shows it as 35" but I'm wondering if it will change? Perhaps one of the CM's on here may have heard of something? My 2 year old went on it last year and LOVED it, she's so excited to go again this year it's all she talks about. I hope she won't be disappointed!
We're in the same boat, cannon is sitting at 37" and Matterhorn is his favorite, he talks about it daily. I'm afraid he may be heartbroken when we return in July. The individual seating is a huge indicator that it will change but I still haven't heard for sure... In the end, whatever is safest is fine by me... - cynDOLEwhip

It's being changed to 42" because of the new sleds. - cinderelli

Poor Cannon grows at speed of snail. This will take him forever. - cynDOLEwhip 744.1 #137 7:00PM
Good my boy is over that. Although when I showed him it was single rider he didn't seem to thrilled. - Lelundrial 341.4 #429 7:28AM

My 2 1/2 year old made it in Dec but even if she were 42" I'd still have reservations about letting her ride since I can't physically hold on to her. I don't think she would go for it either. - Keala76

Well if its 4'2 then my little Sebastian is safe :) anything more like Indiana Jones then he won't be able to ride it -_- but that kid grows so quickly - Ain1derland

Right there with you guys. Our daughter rode Matterhorn at Mickey's Halloween Party for the first time and loved it!! Rode a few time since then but she'll have to wait to go again. That's okay because she's almost 40"!!! That opens up a whole lot more!! - Chadco

Bummer! My daughter is 39 inches and we were hoping it would be 40 if anything. :( she asks everytime we go if its done being fixed yet. Hopefully by June when it reopens she'll be 40" and can ride BTMRR and will make that her new fav! She's also dying to ride SM! Love my coaster girl! :) - LoveDland

wow that is a big difference! Too bad they couldn't have made them side by side seats like SM, I bet that would have lowered the height requirement. My little is just pushing 39 inches so maybe by then she'll have a growth spurt and be able to do some of the 40 inch rides. I'll just have to tell her that it's broken, the lines will probably be too long anyways. I love my little coaster girl too like you LoveDland!! :) - disneymommy0910
