Let's hear some uplifting stuff! Not everyone has time to go out to Guest Relations and write out a compliment card...so now that we are all relaxed wherever you maybe...share an experience of when a CM truly made your day a little more sweeter at the resort! Were they really into character? Let you use the FP line without a FP? Magical moments? Share away!
A CM on Big Thunder heard us debating over whether or not a big antique bell on the wall near the loading area would ring or not and he called down to the control room and had them ring it for us. It was pretty cool. We complimented him at City Hall. It was the end of a hot, crowded day and he didn't have to go out of his way to do that. We've also had a CM in the Isney Gallery offer to go if through storage to find a print I couldn't find anywhere. She found it! She ruled. - LaneSparrow316

Since I became a CM I was told we are allowed to make Magical Moments for our guests without having to ask if it's ok. I love this, because when we create one it's genuinely from the heart! - SUUZinOC

I wasn't directed at me, but over the weekend waiting for Pluto. A young guest behind me was a little anxious. Pluto's Red Vest CM (what are they titled?) crouched down and talked with the girl about how cool Pluto was and how Disneyland wouldn't allow anything but the nicest dog for pictures. It was just very sweet!! - JenAnneWho

The CM who really creeped me out at ToT no longer works for the company...but man he was awesome...I try carrying on his character when I'm working..! He made my day years ago and it would be awesome to see him now and tell him I'm a CM pretty much because of his influence..! - TeenMickey

A couple weeks ago at Princess Fantasy Fair a CM Princess Colleen spent a lot of individual time with Brooklynne during the dancing. She focused on Brooklynne during the teaching part and I have the cutest video of Brooklynne dancing. Then she let Brooklynne help clean up and push the cart while we waited for pics with the princesses. She truly made my day. I still need to go to City Hall to compliment her and I will my next trip. - Deltachiq

I have a terrible memory but one the more recent things I remember was on my last trip down to the parks. I was with two friends who were celebrating their bdays, so they both had bday buttons and I had none. We went to the Minnie and friends breakfast and I got one of the buttons there and said "yay now I can wear a button too like you guys!" and the CM overheard and gave me a "I'm Celebrating!" button so I could feel special too xD It was sweet. - Jillian

A few years back we went to the parks during a usually slow time of year. Well for some reason about 40k others were thinking the same thing. Probably cause it was an unusually warm day. Many food places were closed so the lines for the ones that were open were long. Like 45 mins. Most guests were grumpy and hungry and hot. We decided to skip our lunch after waiting in line at
the
ToonTown pizza place for 15 mins without it moving. On
the way out we noticed the slushie place just opened. I
got in line, I was about 6 or 7th in line. There was only
one CM working it and boy did I feel sorry for her. First she
had problems getting everything ready. Then there was a
problem with the register. Then one flavor stopped
working. The people ahead of us were not happy.
Everyone was telling her to get help, etc, but she was
trying her best. You could tell she was alarmed but she
kept her smile and focus on. She never gave up. Finally a
maintaince CM came by and talked to her and I assume
went to get her help. The line was growing by the second.
I wanted to go help her!! About 40 or so minutes later we
finally got to the front of the line. I wanted to give her a
hug. She was still by herself but gracious
as ever. Grace under fire. I felt so bad for her getting so many complaints. I told her she was amazing and thanked her profusly. When we left the line was almost to the entrance. :-(. I was mad at management for putting her in that situation. I shared the good and bad at City Hall. She is an amazing CM!! - PrincessDuckie

Last year, we got into DCA kind of late, but still wanted to see WOC if possible. I asked a CM if there was a spot in the park where we could stand and still see the show. He asked me how many were in my party, then asked me to hold out my hand. He put 3 passes in my hand for a section right near the front. He was so sweet, and totally made our day. - Juliebird

I've tried several times to fill out a complimentary form for CMs but I was always turned away with the excuse, "You can do it online...... NEXT GUEST PLEASE!" - DuffysJuju

So my wife and I went on our honeymoon to Disney world. When we were shopping in one of the stores a CM approached us and asked what brought us there. We told him that we were there on our honeymoon and my wife went to tell him how I proposed at Disneyland. After asking a few more questions he shouted "can I have everyone's attention." he then told our story to everyone in the store. There were awes from the crowd and then everyone cheered when he was done. It was such a great moment for my wife and I!! - MrRogers

My sister has a friend who used to be a stage hand tech CM at DL. He did 2 very magical things for us on two different occasions. The first time he did something my sister just called him to tell him we were at the parks and wanted to see him to say hi. When we met up with him he told us that he was going to put our names down on the list for the preferred seating section for Fantasmic. When we got there that evening we realized we had amazing seats and we also had access to coffee and yummy treats! The second amazing thing he did for us was at Woody's Christmas roundup (done at Christmas time at the ranch). Well my sis an I were there with another friend's daughter. When we met up with the CM friend he asked us what the little girls name was, when we told him he wrote it down. Well when the show started and Santa came out he had a piece of paper with Julia's name on it. He called her up to the stage and told everyone that she was on the "nice" list. It was so sweet to see, she never expected Santa to call her name! Whether a friend or not there is something special inside each and every CM I have interacted with :) - reinakim

We stopped by TSMM to watch WOC and a couple CMs were telling jokes, dancing, and singing. They were so incredibly funny we were in tears. Best WOC ever lol - KissDclown

I was collecting some glasses from the art gallery on main street. I could never find the Tomorroand one. I was talking to a sweet CM named Michelle and she went out of her way to go into the storage Room cause she said she thought she saw one just randomly hanging out back there. She returned with the glass and made my day! I'd been looking for it for months! - shannonie77

We went to Ariel's Grotto for a WOC dinner the second or third week they were doing them. The place was packed, people heading everywhere, and yet our waiter was a charmer, never let our glasses hit empty, and went out of his way to be nice. We marched right on down to guest relations to let them know! Best dinner at the resort ever! The last time I went, we had a similar experience with our waiter at Blue Bayou, who somehow magically made lunch happen fast enough we didn't have to run to make our reservation for the Lilly Belle! - ThatKimberly

We were lucky enough to have a friend get us into Club 33 last May. We went to the more formal dinner time. It was me, my husband and almost 2 year old daughter. She's usually very very good in restaurants so we weren't concerned she would act up. She was being great up until right when they put our food on the table. She started crying and just didn't want to sit. (ended up being a tummy ache) A CM noticed we were taking turns walking her around down the hall by the windows and bar area, trying to make her happy. She gave her a tinkerbell light up thing that clips onto the cups (free) as well as gave us cut in line passes for any ride we chose! I wish I remember her name because it was so sweet of her to go out of her way to do that when she didn't have to.
I also won a pair of mouse ears when on TOT back when they were doing the year of a million dreams. That was fun, they stopped us as we were exiting the video area into the main line area to actually get on the ride.
