Are they changing the height requirement for the matterhorn? If so, to what?
I just hope I'm tall enough π - Sweet_Irish_Cream

I'm barely tall enough not to need a carseat. This would not be good. π - bluefairy 627.0 #174 3:41AM
It was 35 and 3 years old before. New height requirement is 42 inches. That is 2 inches taller than Space Mtn, Splash and BTMRR, but same as Goofy's Sky School. - MoonWillow

It was under 40. My son went on it and he's only about 37". It might have been 36"? - Mouse4life 1040.7 #82 4:37PM

Must say I'm a little surprised its higher than space mountain. - Mickey_Badge

Yup sadly it had to be raised due to the size and make of the new trains. Going to be a bummer for the young ones who were barely able to ride, they will have to wait even longer. - robman97

Height requirements often have to do with being able to evacuate safely and independently as they do with general ride safety. - MoonWillow

I was just going to say that... The guest must be able to reach from the train to the track with out being held. I use to work a coaster at Busch Gardens Williamsburg and the height always got parents upset.. It is for safety - Lifeguardmom 292.5 #657 6:25AM
