Kinda dismayed yesterday, I was in the Small World store, looking at pins, a lady tells her teen daughter, "see what you do is buy the cheapest pins, but keep a mental note of the expensive ones so when you trade, you give those out and go for their expensive pins." I felt that was rather mean spirited.
No kidding. Way to go mom, teaching great values. - MyPark

If she is trading with guests instead of cast members she won't have very good luck with that strategy because most of us know what our pins are worth, too. If she is trading with CMs, that probably still won't work because very rarely do I see the more expensive pins on their lanyards. She will probably end up trading most of her pins for pins with the same value. - LaneSparrow316

I'm not really a pin trader I will trade but don't have the book and a million pins BUT, I trade for the pin not for the expense of the pin - lisaw

Ok, that's pretty much what I figured. She was eyeing the Partners pin I was buying too. I don't trade yet. - tinkerbella728
