From miceage.com: CM previews to last a week from June 4th to 8th. AP previews may be charged, not free and all the proceeds goes to CHOC. Walls around Carsland and BVS will not come down until June 14th. Discuss.

This might be a un-popular comment but this seems like a forced donation to the charity and taking away a portion of the AP perks.  Why not set up a stand outside the CA gates? Or set up a portion of the retail AND food sales from the preview event and the Grand Opening week go towards the charity instead? - Donaldfan_532  226.0 #1290 9:53AM
It's alright. I'm sure these details are still up in the air. I reported last week that previews might not even happen, yet it might happen. - BCC  4640.6 #5 9:59AM
I like the idea of purchasing tickets over entering your email and hoping you get picked. This way everyone has more of a "fair" chance. Plus you don't have to pay of you don't want to. AP days are right before the opening. You could just wait. - KissDclown  1088.1 #77 11:44AM
CHOC is the Children's Hospital of Orange County, not necessarily a charity (: - Jacqueline  546.7 #205 12:55PM

Well, I don't mind the idea because I think it's awesome, but I do see your point. However Kiss makes a great point--this way, everybody really has a chance... I understand that some may not have the money, but if you have an AP, chances are you can afford at least a $10-20 ticket. If more than that, I see it being a problem - KylaShea  533.2 #214 3:00PM
It also said there would be magic morning hours just for APs at 7am for DCA. Here's the link to the article: http://t.co/oEnhZWgN ๐Ÿ˜Š - Jaytasmic  373.3 #367 10:01AM
I'd pay for it. Worthy cause - KissDclown  1088.1 #77 8:18AM
We would donate for the preview opportunity - Tealtownfan  692.5 #144 8:23AM
thats pretty cool, i'd pay to for it if it went to charity. - chris.  2507.3 #24 9:20AM

โ€œmountains that evoke the luxury car tailfins of yesteryear.โ€ Thats pretty funny - Mouse4life  1045.5 #82 8:30AM
I'd pay...as long as it was under $100 - Linzee  515.8 #226 9:04AM
Can we get $101? - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  1797.4 #42 9:14AM
We would have to share a dole whip and not get our own...so perhaps - Linzee  515.8 #226 9:50AM
It said it would be a couple hundred so good luck with that! - JenInWonderland  1025.1 #86 12:28PM
Oh snap! Looks like I will be holding out for Monday's lottery - Linzee  515.8 #226 1:07PM
Yeah!! That's the week we will be there!! I will definitely pay to see Cars Land!!! ๐Ÿ’ - tigntink  179.3 #1874 10:04AM
I like the magic morning idea but id pay to see cars land too! - djbreakdown  567.0 #195 10:59AM
Yay CM previews!!! ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜œ - SkellyMouse  501.3 #237 11:03AM
Yay!!! - BaseballMickey_CM  2826.3 #16 11:27AM
I agree with donaldfan. They should donate some proceeds from food and merch sales instead. Ap holders should not have to pay more to see a new attraction in the park. As a premium holder myself I pay a great price already! Just sayin.... - parkcrazy  4.0 #13771 11:03AM
Well you don't have to pay If you don't want to. You're welcome to wait a few days for it to be open. I personally like the idea of purchasing tickets. This way it's a bit more "fair" instead of the "lotto" system of entering your email. - KissDclown  1088.1 #77 11:42AM
I hope it isn't very expensive since all my money goes to my AP payments anyways. But I really don't mind paying since its its going to a charity.  - tiggertwin  317.8 #530 11:22AM
I'm sorry but I don't like the idea of paying some of us aren't rich! I only get my ap since its a birthday gift for me. I would like to give to the charity if I could but something that I could afford :( Does anyone know what will happen with the GAC for carsland? - princessVanessa  382.5 #351 12:34PM
I'm still on the fence about Carsland, but it should be interesting once it opens. I used to work at CHOC, so I'd gladly pay knowing the money would go straight to the hospital. With that said, I understand why people wouldn't want to pay. - Jacqueline  546.7 #205 12:35PM
Pay or don't pay, It's still your choice. - Katrayher  739.0 #138 12:37PM
Exactly! - iamdugsmaster  756.7 #133 12:59PM
It depends on the price. "donations" tend to be expensive, so I'll just wait the extra week...very patiently - ladylikesdisney  921.5 #95 12:50PM
Miceage says a couple hundreds....I'm just going to wait too - princessVanessa  382.5 #351 1:02PM
I'd suggest reading the article. There is one lottery ap preview day scheduled for the 11th, and June 14th dca will be closed to the public. Lots of good info in there - ladylikesdisney  921.5 #95 1:11PM
"charge several hundred dollars per head to only a few thousand APs." WHAT! Per the article, if this is true....just wow! - SupremeLeader  393.9 #339 1:20PM
June 14 is my Birthday. So excited for Carsland - Tink_85  113.2 #2843 2:34PM
I hope they don't charge for previews. I think if they want to do something for charity have an exclusive shirt or merch where proceeds go to a foundation or something. It is more fair that everyone is entered and randomly chosen. Having to pay for a preview isn't fair to those who cannot afford an extra money. - MissErikaRae_CM  285.5 #696 2:50PM
