Good evening mousewait friends:) welcome to this weeks edition of Disney Mania Monday! This weeks topic is your favorite ride when you were a kid (or when you first started to remember or go to Disney parks). Mine is and always will be Splash Mountain. Obviously I couldn't go on that ride when I first started going to disneyland, but many of my favorite childhood Disney memories are wrapped up in that ride:):). Have fun tonight for those of you in the parks, and let the discussion begin!

My favorite as a kid was the Tea Cups!!! I would run to this ride and want to go on it over and over again, even after a full meal!! - KadensMommy  318.6 #529 6:57PM

The Matterhorn. It's the first one I remember, and it was my dad's favorite so we rode it every visit. - Gia  785.5 #121 7:03PM
Mine was Space Mountain! I remember going to WDW and riding it over and over, no wait. This was in 1977... It wasn't very crowded because it was August in Florida. :) The next Summer we went to DL and the line was so long I could only go on it once. It's funny because it makes me a little nauseous now. :) - PeachKay  310.6 #556 7:11PM
I had two -- Pirates and the Peoplemover. ;) BRING BACK THE PEOPLEMOVER! *steps off soapbox and wipes away a single tear* - BreadAndButterfly  505.3 #234 7:19PM
The skyway, definitely the skyway! - markeymouse  270.9 #817 7:22PM

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride! I would've ridden it all day if I could've :) - VeloMouseGirl  549.7 #202 7:29PM

I think it's always been Space Mountain. Even to this day there's nothing quite like the feel of the wind through your hair, the surprise of the turns and having a million stars all around you at once. As a kid, that ride blew my little mind to pieces πŸ˜„ - Aquata  292.2 #659 8:34PM
So I would say my favorite ride since I was a kid was space mountain. Still to this day It's been my favorite. The amazing lights, the astronaut like feeling, the windy breeze and amazing turns with whips as you ride. I miss America Sings SO much! I used to play the CD often to reminisce and would narrate to my kids which characters would be singing the different songs. They took it out when I was a teen and I wish there was some magical way they could bring it back! *sigh* - Nala  331.5 #466 10:53PM
