Hmmm....I have to think about that!! I can tell you the costumer I hated the most and that was being a Christmas tree!! My mom had this wonderful idea of one of my sister's being a snowman, me a Christmas tree and one of my other sister's a present!!! She always made all of our costumes each year!! My favorite would have to be when I was prob 5 and I was Tiger Lilly!! It was actually one of my dance costumes. I always had short hair when I was younger and we had to have a braid for this costume, so my mom made a braid out of yarn and some how stuck it to the back of my head. I actually had never thought about this, so I just took a Disney character personality test!! My answer was Goofy!!! It said that Goofy is larger than life from my head to my toes and that includes a huge heart filled with affection for my family and many friends. I would buy back El Moro beach in Laguna Beach!!! This is where my family used to have our beach house with our relatives. The state of California originally owned the land and El Moro leased it. In 2006, the State took back the land, ripped our homes out and then Ca went bankrupt and it just sat there for about 4 years. It's sad because that was the 2nd grossing State park in Ca and they could of used that money when we Ca went bankrupt!!! They have now turned the land side into an RV park and the beach side (where our place used to be) to just a beach. I would have to say three people, all relatives. The first is my Great Grandpa (my mom's dad's dad). He died of a heart attack when my Grandpa was just a boy, so I never got to meet him. The second would be my Great Aunt (my mom's mother's sister). She died when she was in her 30's from cancer, so I never got to meet her. The third would be my Uncle (my mom's brother). My first job....well I got to be one of those lovely food samplers you see at the grocery store!! This was when I was prob 14 or 15 and I got paid really well!! I was not the best employee bc I would usually just set up the stuff and leave for a few hours and then come back every now and then to restock and then make up my #s on how many ppl tasted it!! LOL!! But my first real job was at Staples (bc my boyfriend in HS worked there) and Lady Foot Locker. My favorite board game is Stratego. I was in band in Elementary school and Jr High. I played the flute! I did get two scholarships to Arrowbear Music Camp!!! LOL!! I went to one marching band practice my freshman year in HS and never went back. Dropped that and played basketball instead for all 4 years in HS. I would pick that I could sing really well bc I'd think it would be so awesome to just let it out sound amazing!! I'd put on the best concerts bc I already have sweet dance moves and with an amazing voice I'm sure I'd be a star!!! I would also get to meet my favorite singer, Garth Brooks, and sing with him!!!! Oh where do I begin??!!! The first time I went there I was prob 14 or 15. My family went with our close friends, Mike and Kathy. Mike grew up going there so he is Mr Yosemite to us!! The moment we drove through the tunnel and came to Inspiration Pt I was in love. I couldn't get over the pure beauty my eyes were seeing!! Once we got down to the valley floor, I couldn't get over how massive everything was. My fav is El Capitan!! We would go to the field across the street, lay on our backs and try to find the climbers. We would yell out to them and sometimes we would get a yell back. We would go back at night with flash lights and flick them on and off to the climbers and would get some flickers back!! Have you read the book Climbing Back? It's about Mark Wellman who is a paraplegic that climbed Half Dome and El Capitan. I finished it when in Yosemite! I've hiked, Mist Trail to the top of Vernal Falls and then to Nevada Falls. My goal is to hike to the top of Half Dome soon. One of my fav places just to hang out is Happy Isles!! I've been in spring a few times, in the fall and in the winter. I took my husband for his first time when we first started dating in 2005. That trip was the first time he told me he loved me!! I remember it like it was yesterday!! We were hiking back from Vernal falls and it was drizzling all day. It was in Dec so there was no one there but us!! I could prob find the spot too!! I hope to go again soon!! That place is heaven on earth for me!! I always cheer when we go to Yosemite on Soarin'!!!! - caramiapoohAKAface 1462.1 #54 7:18PM
If you are interested in hiking Half Dome there is a book called "Shattered Air" it's about a group of guys who encounter lightning on the top of Half Dome. I couldn't put it down. I have a great love for Yosemite and have been going there a long time. We will have to talk sometime and share pics and stories. I knew Dave before MW, so he doesn't count!! I actually met Mimmy and BooEve at the MWGive!! It was my first time going to anything for MW and I went alone and was really nervous!!! We both work for the same bank, so I've know of him since I started 15 yrs ago. About 5 years after I started, I had just become an Ast Mgr and he was sent to my office to check on me. Well he had his way of doing things (wrong) and I had my way (right). He was trying to get me to change things and I didn't like it. I told my Area Mgr later on that day that I never wanted him in my office again and that I hated him!! So fast forward about 3 yrs and I'm on vacation and so is my Area Mgr and my branch was getting audited, so they had to send "Joe the Jerk" to help my branch. I has to be nice to him on the phone bc he needed to make sure I passed. Well, of course I passed and ran into him a few weeks later and said thanks and that I owed him lunch for covering for me. I never intended on really taking him!! Well 3 months later, my Area Ops person is on vacation and she put me in charge. Well Joe was also put in charge. Lovely!! So I had to go meet with him about a mtg I was in charge of that he would help me with. So he ends up being nice and even jokes with me. We talk on the phone a few times a day but it was different. Well one night he was still at work bc he lived in LA and we worked in OC, so he would wait for the traffic to die down. I asked him if he wanted to go to the Yard House since I owed him. He said sure and I met him there. I still remember what I was wearing and it was July 16th!! He showed up and didn't have a tie on and I thought he looked kind of cute! Dinner goes well and he pays instead of me. The next day we have a mtg and I'm soo hyper the whole time bc no one knew we went out the night before. Well the mtg is over and I had a date with some guy, so I made sure Joe knew I was leaving for a date. Two days later we go to the movies to see Taladega Nights!!! It was fun and that was that. He calls me the next day and we talked on the phone for 4 hrs. I was supposed to go to the fair with that other guy but he called and flaked on me and we never talked again. I asked Joe to come but he already had poker plans. We texted the whole night and when I got home we talked on the phone until I convinced him at 2 am to come over bc I bought him a Starbucks mug. He loves Starbucks. So he came over and we were never apart again. After dating 4 yrs, proposed to me on Christmas Eve at the castle.
