RAK: I was able to grab an extra for one lucky MWer. Please only enter if YOU were not able to pick one up today. I visited 3 stores to give someone a chance to own one. Just post what your favorite Disney memory is. This RAK will close on Friday at 11:59pm and I will announce a winner on Saturday.

So generous of you! My favorite memory was when my husband and I met our families at the parks. We dressed our oldest in a shirt that said, "Big Sister to Be" and surprised everyone. We were told we couldn't have anymore kids after our first, so this will always be such a cherished memory for us. Please add me. - RCmom  5229.2 #16 12:10PM

My family was very poor when I was growing up. I watched the mouseketeers on tv all the time and so wanted to go to Disneyland when I was little but my parents could never afford it. When I started grade school a friend that I made invited me to go with his family. While I was sad that my parents weren't able to go I was excited to finally be able to go myself. That memory of first entering the park was magical. Later on in life I was thankful for the sacrifices my parents made to allow me to enjoy some things they weren't able to. - CaptnSparrow  667.2 #261 7:54PM

Please add me! Wow lucky u I was working and I saw everyone walking out of the store with one but since I was alone in the store I could go :( so close but yet so far 😭😭😭😭😭 anyway...... My best memory from Disneyland was during the first year my babe and I were dating he surprised me by blind folding me and taking me to Disneyland for Valentines Day❀❀ when we got there I almost bursted into tears I was so happy... As the day went on it began to rain.β˜”β˜”β˜” we didn't have umbrellas or anything because we were not prepaired for rain, and even though my babe "littlegreenalien" was bummed because he's surprise date was ruined I thought it was the most romantic thing in the world. We spent the whole day running trying to stay dry and even though we were soaked but being at Disney with your loved one while it's raining and trying to stay warm is the best thing in the world! No crowds just u and the other person avoiding the rain making the best out of it! I ❀❀❀ it! The best and most romantic memory for me in Disneyland! - angrystitch626  116.7 #3168 12:25AM
Add me please, I have the flu so I couldn't go get one 😞 my favorite Disney memory is spending Christmas of 2010 with my mom at Disneyland. It was our first time going at Christmas and it was so magical for us both! It poured the whole time, but we didn't mind. It was actually nice because the lines were short so we got to ride everything some of the people in line with us were kinda crabby because of the rain, so we started singing Christmas carols and got people to sing along with us. It really lifted the mood, and the kids around us were less restless because they got to sing instead of concentrating on how long the lines were. It was just such an amazing trip, and I'm so glad I have those memories with my mom - ladylikesdisney  945.0 #173 12:09PM
Yay!!!!! Please add me!! I had to work! My favorite memory is the first time we walked down Main Street, my daughter and me. It took 16 years to get her there, and I got tears in my eyes. :) (That, and having giggling fits with her at Great Moments with Mr Lincoln.) - PeachKay  311.1 #767 12:51PM
Pls add me my fav moment was this past weekend meeting rick for the first time after weeks of cat and mouse game lol - LoneRAYnger  4261.4 #24 1:03PM
When I was a kid the only time I got to see all my cousins at once was when we went to Disneyland. We only got to go five times (over the past 30 years) so each visit was like magic. The boys always made us sick on the teacups and we'd splash water at each other on pirates. Every time I go to the park now I think of them and how much I miss them. - jennlovesminnie  31.7 #5336 9:59PM
My most memorable moment was when my wife and I were celebrating our 10 year anniversary (dating) and I was ready to propose to her. My original idea was to propose to her at the well, but that day it just happened that there was NO water. I then freaked out and didn't know what to do. So we got some lunch and we then went to one her favorite Fantasyland rides snow white. When we went through the jewel mine I improvised and asked her if she liked the what I was holding. It was the engagement ring. She then laughed and cried. Then laughed again. I had to ask her if that was a yes and from that moment on, we were forever attached to Disneyland. (other than being Passholders for more than 10 years πŸ˜‰) - crailtap81  250.5 #1255 2:44PM
Please add me! My favorite memory was when the entire family got on Space Mountain for the first time, including my grandmother. When we were getting on, my mom was concerned that this wasn't okay for her to get on.  She wasn't feeling good but grandma wanted to get on.  When the ride was over, she said she felt better than when she got on!  Gotta love grandma!!
- LaChona  191.2 #2004 10:32PM
Add me please. So many great memories, from going the first time in 55 a few weeks after the park opened and seeing Walt in the park a few years later. The first time visits with kids and grandkids. First date with my High-school sweetheart who I married. Disneyland the day before I was shipped out to Vietnam and the first place I went to when I got back. But it has to be my first day as a Cast Member. - splashphotoCM  885.6 #181 11:40PM
Bump for those that have not entered. Ends tonight folks :) - RickChavez  3416.9 #35 11:51AM
slept in..... haha my fave disney memory would have to be when I went to disneyland for my birthday in 2009 or 2010 and got to stand in the very front of the castle to watch the fireworks. And it so happened that the person next me was also celebrating their birthday as well. so we both hugged it out and said happy birthday to eachother, and enjoyed.  - kristian  1991.3 #67 12:00PM
Add me please! My favorite Disney memory is marching down Main St. with my Jr. High School. We had a fantastic time and I got to see the Main St Electric Parade in special reserved seating just for us. What an absolutely magical day it was! :) - MissyluvsDisneyland  362.0 #580 12:05PM
Ooh ooh I wasnt able to go because I went with my mom to have her eyes dilated. My favorite Disney memory is 2004 when my son saw the "snow" on Main St, on his dads shoulders, I'm tear eyed, a girl walks past, tells her bf "Omg look at his face, soo cute!!!" I lost it, crying freely. :D ill never forget that! - tinkerbella728  175.7 #2214 12:06PM
Watching the fireworks as a kid from tomorrow land while when you wish upon a star was playing, brings tears to my eyes still. - PanPiratePoppyCock  226.8 #1552 12:06PM

I totally forgot about this and set my alarm for 10am (got home late from working WOC). So bummed, so I know I work for the Mouse bit still wanted these. So please add me. My favorite memory is the one I tell time and time again because it's one of my first memories but also has stayed with me my whole life. Snow White speaking to me at eye level while I was in my stroller! And I have the photo too! - SUUZinOCretiredPLAID  1035.6 #159 12:07PM
Please add me, if you need proof I can send you a pic of me at work. I was just thinking about this yesterday when thinking about parades. I first took my son to DL when he was turning 2. I allowed him to watch the holiday parade. He had this big smile on his face the whole time, and his eyes were so bright. He actually ended up mingling in with this group of adults that were sitting down. They ended up watching him as much as the parade.
- Lelundrial  530.2 #353 12:08PM

This is very kind of you! Please add me. One of my favorite Disney memories is when I was a child, I went to DL with my grandparents and extended family. I has never been in the Tiki Room. I was curious about it. My grandpa wanted to go but no one would go with him. Not knowing why, I of course agreed. We went in, he sang along. As soon as the birds say "altogether now", he belted it out 100 times louder. My grandpa had such a beautiful tenor voice. He had his little church lady groupies to listen to him sing. I had to laugh, everyone turned and stared. Lol. I knew then why no one wanted to go with him, they all got embarrassed. To me, it was beautiful. Every time I go in to the Tiki Room, I see him sitting there with a huge smile and i can hear him sing! Why am I getting all choked up Writing this? Lol. Thank you for the consideration! - NurseJennJillO  314.6 #751 1:04PM

My favorite Disney memory is of the time i went on Tot with my big sis. There was a group of guys next to us, it was one of the guys birthdays. He was really freaked out because he'd never been on the ride before and his friends were making stories up about the ride. He turned to us and said "is that true? " his friends were like 'dont say no!' So we went along with it. I said theres no seats and you have to stand the whole time, and on the end,we all fall down in a heap. Please add me! I had to work this morning and the closest store to my work is 30 minutes away! I don't know if I could choose just one memory because every trip to Disneyland creates new fantastic memories! But my newsest and favorite right now  would be from my last trip over Thanksgiving and we took our good friends 7-year old daughter and we had such a blast with her, she had only been once before back when she was 2 years old. So seeing her eyes light up with every character and the look on her face when we rode the rides (her favorite being BTMR and ToT). Also, my boyfriend came with us who hasn't been since he was 8 years old and is now 31, so it was like his first time as well (and he wasn't even that excited about going and now is planning another trip soon!). We had such a good time that trip... - TamandaBooty  8.0 #11473 1:25PM

My boyfriend (S) and I (J) had our very first date at Disneyland 2 years ago in Feb. Both of our parents though we were crazy because it was raining. We had our first kiss on Pirates just after you get out the cave and into where the ship is shooting the cannons. It was such a perfect and magical time. Now every year we go to Disneyland for our anniversary (and other times too of course). (^_^x) - 1stDateDisney  172.2 #2276 4:17PM
My favorite Disney moment came as many others did by surprise. Woke up one morning and walked to the kitchen to get myself a bowl of cereal and there was my dad cooking breakfast ans my mom was doing her hair so as I'm eating my dad's version of French toast and trying to get the sleep outta my eyes my mom comes in and sits down and then he announces that he wasn't going to work then my mom says she wasn't going to work either so I was all "wow what happened?". So after breakfast I go shower and get ready for school and as I'm heading to the door my family from up north "Redwood City" is in the alley waiting for me and everyone's there so my mind is all turned around and we help them being their luggage into the apartment and then back into the cars we pile into we drive two miles and I see the old Disneyland sign on Harbor Blvd. I used to always ask my dad when are we going to Disneyland and he'd answer one day. So he turns to me and with the worlds biggest smile he says "ready for THE Day!?". - ATankNamedFrank  317.8 #737 4:38PM
Oh ya I forgot please add me haha thanks, good luck everyone! - ATankNamedFrank  317.8 #737 4:41PM
Please add me, thank you! IT WAS REALLY CUTE!  - Happybrandison  242.5 #1361 4:46PM
This is amazing!!! And I wanted these so bad!!! My favorite Disney memory has to be my last trip I took at the end of febuary! My boyfriend and I were in the d street store buying vinylmations( we are addicts 😊) and I was shaking all the boxes desperately looking for the chicken little vinylmation! This young women came up to me and handed me a box and said "here's one more for you to shake!" I said "thanks!" and laughed she then told me that she couldn't take the chance and only wanted the tinkerbell one! I said I totally understood!! I said wait a min and I can help you out! So I went to find my boyfriend and earlier in the day we had gotten a tinkerbell and I already had one and was just going to trade it! So I gave it to the young woman and she was shocked an thrilled! Turns out she an her bf were on their anniversary trip and didn't have a lot of spending money! Needless to say this made me heart sweep up with happiness! And when I got back to the hotel I opened my blind box and got the chicken little vinylmation!! This is my favorite Disneyland story so far! It's better to give then receive I say!!! Wow this is long lol!!! ☺ - CourtyAstroBlisters  700.5 #240 4:53PM
Please add me! My favorite memory was this last Febuary when Nyghtngale, BooEve and mickey74(along with conspirators) threw me(at 47) my very FIRST Surprise Birthday Party!!!! It was such a wonderful thing to do and so many MWers showed up!! A nice German man took our pic! A drunkard sang me Happy Birthday! There was red velvet cake and so many old and even brand new friends! There were lots of drinks, monorail rides, dancing with MinnieNurse. It was the most fun Day/night of my life! I can't forget dying of embarrassment when Romec put me right where she knew the Billy Hills would sing to me too!!! Thanks again every one of you fantastic MWers!!!😘😘 - SueBayou  2019.6 #65 5:08PM

So generous of you :) Wasn't able to pick up my own pair :c Had to go to school! Well my favorite memory would have too be when my Dad and I went to Disneyland together on "One More Disney Day" it was pretty magical because, i didnt think i would ever be able to go to the parks with him ever again, He was really over weight over 500 and one day he went to the hospital and dont want to go into details but i almost lost him. So he lost about 300 and I took him to Disneyland :) on leap day . Best Day of my life, he had been taking me ever since i was a liddo girl. My favorite memory was a life changer. I had been having a hard time finding a reason to live for various reasons. My best friend had actually taken me to the park for the first time in a long time and it just changed something inside me. All of the excitement in the kids' eyes, the magic that poured out of the every corner of the park, and all the smiles on the CMs faces changed everything for me. I upgraded my ticket to a pass and can never see myself without it again.  - xtianp  14.5 #7877 9:02PM

Oh my gosh add me please!!! I wanted one so bad but my car is in the shop :(. My favorite memory.... wow thats really hard. I think it would have to be riding Pirates for the very first time with my little sister when she was a baby. The 2 other babies started bawling and she was laughing up a storm. i was so proud lol
- Poisen_Ivy  271.1 #1064 12:40AM
Oh my gosh I trekked all over my part of Arizona for one of these!!!! Please add me please please please!! Ok sorry my best Disney memory is last year for christmas my step sister sent my mom and I to Disneyland for 3 days, let me explain why this is do important to me, my mother had a stroke and almost died when I was 8, she's been left paralyzed in her left side do we don't get to do much, last year she started getting worse and was in and out of hospitals all year we didn't know what would happen, so as a gift to me she sent us to Disneyland for Christmas so that I could something big and memorable with my dear mother before it was too late. It was truly a blessing and we had a beautiful time and it's my favorite memory because Disney is the one place that makes mom forget she's handicap ❀❀❀ - Little_Miss_Tink  117.1 #3161 1:32AM
Add me please! I'll never forget the first time I saw Fantasmic here. It blew me away!! - lostgirl7988  697.6 #244 1:33AM
I won a pair of these tonight in the park so instead I'd like to be added for CyndelGrace :) - lostgirl7988  697.6 #244 1:29AM
Add me, I had to work so I wasn't able to make it to any of the stores :( plus I don't own any mickey ears. - SylSnowWhite  310.1 #777 4:38AM
Please add me. My favorite memory of Disney ia on my 8 th birthday when my favorite character at the time waved to me and mouthed happy birthday and my name to me. - dnerd  294.0 #875 5:36AM
Please add me. My most memorable moment is when my son saw Mickey for the first time. Seeing him smile from ear to ear and how happy he was made me cry right then and there! It's a moment I will remember and cherish forever! Thank you! - VintageMamaBear  300.2 #842 7:59AM
My mom and I would always go to Disneyland and get something to eat and get a great seat somewhere for fantasmic and watch the show just me and her. It was my favorite thing. I miss it because I'm grown now and have a daughter of My own so we don't get to do that anymore. But I'm looking forward to doing the same thing with my daughter. - imnoprincess_CM  236.6 #1421 8:59AM
Oh add me please please please! I wasn't able to go because I had to work :( They just opened a Disney store at the city creek center that looks amazing, but when I went last Saturday there was a line to get in!!! I would love to get these ears! Thanks so much! :D - twisted_esmy  86.3 #3646 11:22AM
Please add me! By the time I was able to go to a Disney Store yesterday, all three stores were out. One of my favorite Disney memories is actually this last trip I took-my parents, sister and her husband and his mom, and I went with my six month old niece for her first visit. She met Pluto and had an amazing laugh on her face, and it was so so fun to just take it easy and ride rides that we could take her on. we also rode the Lilly Belle for the first time! - fletheartsdisney  616.8 #294 11:50AM
Bump for those that haven't entered. - RickChavez  3416.9 #35 1:49PM
Please add me...I had intended to go to my local store but unfortunately got called in to work...boo! I have so many good memories of DL it is so hard to pick just one! Going with my parents without my sisters as an adult was a great memory but also being able to say I went with each of my 6 nieces and nephews for their first visits to Disneyland is something I am very proud I got to experience. Again...way too many great memories to list! Thank you for this great RAK! - yellowtonka  241.4 #1371 2:38PM
Awesomeness! My most favorite trip was this past February when my boyfriend and me got our annual pass. We had the greatest time and it felt so good to enjoy DL/DCA and know that we can go back anytime. We started collecting pins, searching for hidden mickeys, joined the Lego store VIP club, got on rides, watched Captain EO everything went perfect. Although, I was too chicken to get On tower of terror and my bf wants to get on so maybe we'll meet up with some MWers that he can get on with (;. It was truly special sharing the day with my boyfriend and to be worry free for a day. We've had a tough last two years with our family and it's a wonderful thing truly to free our minds and be at the "happiest place on earth" It's like being a kid all over again and feel the butterflies of excitement just to know and be at DL/DCA. Can't wait to do it again. - Tink_85  113.2 #3234 2:51PM
Bump - RickChavez  3416.9 #35 10:02PM
Awesome! My fav memory are all the family trips I would take with my parents. When one of your parents isnt around you treasure the great memories of the fam trips like Disneyland. From being teenie to teens. Miss my dad <3 - sunnyflw  5.4 #15762 11:03PM
So many Disney memories.... I guess my favorite would be performing in the marching band on Main Street. - lisacat  254.9 #1220 11:30PM
My favorite memory was when my whole family went for the grand opening for DCA back in 2001.
- ArmorGTX  30.1 #5467 1:18AM
is when i first actually spent a family outing at the park in 1969 we were not rich but my mom saved up and took us to the park for 3 days . this happened 3 months before she died i sure miss her - sctoaonk75  274.3 #1027 2:39AM
my favorite time is when i stood in line ad bought my disney pass :D - Hendizl  2580.6 #43 3:19AM
Please add me for SplashPhotoCM. My favorite Disneyland memory is when I took my oldest daughter for the first time. She was almost 3 and didn't truly grasp the concept of why I was so excited until we entered the park. Her eyes lit up. Then as we walked under the Main Street Train Station bridge, she saw Minnie Mouse. She grabbed my hand and we took off. My mom quickly bought her an autograph book and brought it over to us. Minnie spent at least 10 minutes with her. She told Minnie it was her first trip. Minnie's autograph is still my favorite. It's on page 1 of her 1st autograph book and Minnie took time to personalize it, Jessianne isn't the easiest name but Minnie got it perfect. - bugsmom1208  216.3 #1695 4:04AM
My favorite Disney memory was my first trip to Disneyland when I was 7. We didn't know we were going. Our parents got us up super early in the morning to go for a drive. Didn't know until we go there. Please add me - I was working and unable to go to the Disney store. Thanks so much!

PLease add me! So late lol. Oh well I have lots of memories, but my most recent one was going on SplashMountain 3 times in a row on a pretty cold night. I sat in the front each time, and each time we did a different post.. even got a couple of strangers to join in on our posing. Oh, and bonus memory was going to my first MW meeting. I didn't know what to expect, but I'm glad I went. Met some awesome people!
- jr2yay  183.5 #2111 9:24PM
Add me please. Favorite Disney memory was going to Disneyland for the first time with just me and my mom. So nice to get away from siblings to have a whole day with my mom by myself when your 5! Loved it and will always remember it. - tswift13_Baileys  17.5 #7120 9:40PM
Please add me. I have so many favorites. I guess my big one is my Husband proposing to me in front of Sleeping Beauty castle during the Holiday season. He made sure it was lit up at night and that there was a photographer standing by. - DisneylandFan2  457.3 #427 10:03PM
Please add me My favorite memory is getting stuck mid course on Autopia with my 4 year old son in the pouring rain eventually we made it to an overpass and waited the downpour out. I must say those car seats are great bath tubs. We couldn't stop laughing. - BANGARANG707  253.5 #1233 11:09PM
My best memory is when my hubby planned a birthday day at DL and surprised me by having all my family and his meet us at the entrance I was shocked he pulled it off and we had a fabulous day ! It was 4 yrs ago! He hasnt been since! Lol - LuluR  11.3 #9119 11:13PM

http://cchealth.org/eh/retail-food/dog-law-faq.php Β  I know folks love theiri pets but I still do not think this is sanitary Β from a food perspective. See the url for CA law. Unless they provide a designated pet area outside, dogs cannot lick the plates/utensils, who cleans up after a dog accident......No pets in at a restaurant for now (service dogs are the exception). Disney is excellent with their food cleanliness in the parks per the Public health inspections. DTD does not fare as well per Retaurarant inspection. Check the Health Care Agency for the current restaurant inspections. As a Public health nurse I always check to see who is keeping clean in their kitchens. Diners beware! - Plumiegirl  8572.2 #3 10:42AM
