Sorry if this has already been posted but here is the new Monorail Vinylmation collection, live from the Cali Adventure AP preview. I may just have to start collecting these. So cool!
Why even call them vinylmation?!?! - MayBie
1864.3 #42 5:01PM
Because they are vinyl, and based off of animation characters. This is purely a guess - Slotherini 911.7 #100 5:03PM
Must be the new mol Maybie :D! - BooEve123 800.9 #121 5:05PM
I think they just wanted to latch onto the vinylmation name -__- they make crossover stuff like this all the time(like when they make other characters look like cars)..so unnecessary to tack on vinylmation. - MayBie 1864.3 #42 5:08PM
Yeah. Vinylmations sure have gone down in quality... I miss old mold. Times. - kristian 1806.9 #45 5:11PM
Me too Kristian me too :*( I am so glad I have many of the old molds:) - BooEve123 800.9 #121 5:17PM
More like trashamation. I'm just saying - cesium55 531.2 #220 5:20PM
Agree. You and me MayBie, stayin true to the old molds. Going from old mold to new mold was worse enough, now these? MEH x296549208167494. Lol - kristian 1806.9 #45 5:33PM
I'm fully with ya kristian!! My bf and I love these but first were park starz and now these! I loved the old mickeys with buttons and noses! Makes me sad they have gone down hill a bit...π - CourtyAstroBlisters 449.8 #277 7:14PM
Eh not really into this... #opinion - kristian
1806.9 #45 5:02PM
I saw KAJi's post first and thought he was joking. They look like cardboard cutouts that you get off the back of a cereal box and then fold to assemble. - cesium55
531.2 #220 5:17PM
These are lame...no desire for any of them - Dave

I seem to be in the minority that I like the new mold. Yes, it's much less Mickey-like, but it has given the artists greater leeway and has produced some amazing designs. - Experiment818
1598.0 #49 6:11PM
I miss the nose an buttons, but the artwork is much better - Slotherini 911.7 #100 6:41PM
One of my coworkers went to meeting that included one of the Vinyl designers and he mentioned the old mold led to some production nightmares. - Experiment818 1598.0 #49 6:45PM
The nose and buttons made it more difficult, but I liked seeing how the artists would adapt to them or how they would incorporate those aspects to their designs - cesium55 531.2 #220 11:59PM
Glad you posted a pic of these!! I wanted to but couldn't take a pic. I'm not into vinyl's but I like these! - caramiapoohAKAface

296.2 #647 5:04PM
I think those wheels are just there to make them look more like the cars.. - MEHlanie_Mouse 750.0 #135 5:19PM
Hahaha these
Are still pretty awesome!! - VADERonSOARIN
527.0 #222 5:15PM
They double as pez dispensers - VADERonSOARIN 527.0 #222 5:19PM
Yes, they're different and that's probably why I sorta like them. At first I thought they were based off the vehicles of Buena vista street which IMO would have been way cooler. Either way, they are what they are and I'm sure they'll make some collectors very happy =D - ScubaSteve028
820.7 #115 5:34PM
I think they look like the Boston Duck tour vehicles. - SUUZinOC
716.7 #140 5:36PM
I have a feeling once I step into Carsland I'm gonna go broke! My son is going to want everything. - Princessana08

Of course the ugliest vinyls will be the first in our household... Two of Cannon's favorite things, Cars and the Monorail. Darn you Disney merchandising, darn you! - cynDOLEwhip

I picked up the box set of all of them and looked for a price, but there wasn't one. So I went to ask how much it was. They had no clue. So they told me there were 12 in the box and $12.95 each, so its around $240 give or take some. That doesn't add up to $240??!!! So then someone said there were 25 in the box. They were confused so they got a lead who didnt have a clue either. So I gave up!! I saw someone else walk up and asked the same ? and he got all the same answers that I did. I told him they didn't know. Just wondering why they have something for sale but have no clue how much it is!!! - caramiapoohAKAface
1526.8 #53 5:38PM
That happened to my wife yesterday, she wanted to buy the case for our son and she was to $260-$280. I looked at my wife and said NO! - ninodj 198.2 #1695 11:28AM
Don't the sides of those boxes tell you how many are in there? Also, don't they have computers that they are using to ring this stuff up? I would have scanned the box and see what came up. - Lelundrial 344.9 #435 11:46AM
That's the thing, there was no barcode or sticker with a price on it!!! Weird!! - caramiapoohAKAface 1526.8 #53 11:52AM
Quality control failure right there. - Lelundrial 344.9 #435 12:05PM
I think you had to have them scanned at the counter. - ScubaSteve028
820.7 #115 12:06PM
There was nothing to scan!! It's was soo bizarre!! - caramiapoohAKAface 1526.8 #53 12:29PM
Eh so disappointed! Wish they had started with the tronorail from WDW and the submarine monorail then maybe I'd like these! - MonorailLover1959
