My family and I are making a trip to DL next month for an extended weekend getaway. We are considering staying at Paradise Pier for the first time, but still trying to stay within a given budget. For those who have stayed there before, is it still worth it even if you don't get a DCA facing room?
Thanks in advance!!

Paradise Pier is GREAT! We stayed there 2 weeks ago! We had an upper level theme park view and it was VERY MUCH worth the extra money!! Have fun! - brittandkell

Ours faced the pool side. It was just ok, its nice to have your packages sent back to the room ect. Everyone should stay at a Disney property once. - connielu

Yes we stayed there our first time in jan. loved it. The rooms are large we had a city view and it was great. We could see the pool. And the beach ball pillows were a huge hit with the kids. It is now one of our favorites. - Eraf61

Absolutely it is worth it. We have stayed there 2 times. The first time we got the surprise of having a themepark view. Next time regular view didn't change a thing. It is a great hotel. - Lelundrial

Thanks for your input. I knew the MW community wouldn't let me down. I think we will indeed take advantage of the DLR Spring Specials and stay at PP. - DisneyTrainFan75

We stayed there, the rooms are adorable with all the beach decor. The service was great as always. We always walked to the Grand Californian and went through the DCA entrance. Or to Downtown Disney to get to DL. They have this cute little room downstairs where they have old Disney cartoons playing. So you can take your kids there while your waiting for something. We order takeout from the restuarant. Pretty decent food. The pool is nice and pretty basic, except the small waterslide. All in all it seemed like a regular hotel with the touch of Disney. - MissDancingMinnie
