Has anyone used the military ticket discount? We want to buy, my uncle is a vet, can they be bought at Disneyland as he doesn't have access to a base to go buy them? Does he have to be with us to enter? He'll be there but is coming from a different city and I don't want to wait if they get stuck in traffic, rather go in! Thanks!
He can purchase at the ticket booths. He has to be one of the ticket holders. Each person has to sign the ticket. Not too sure about going in. You should call the booths - Starr

I think spouses can be the ticket holders too, right? - cynDOLEwhip 744.1 #137 10:53AM
If I remember correctly you have to be active duty or reserves to qualify for the military tickets.. I'm not sure vets get it.. So I think you may want to look into that. - kritomiester

So I just looked it up and it is active duty and reserves, but retired military gets it as well. So if he retired from the military and is not just a vet than he qualifies! Also, when my hubby was in the marines we used these tickets. He would just need to show his military id once when getting you guys in, and after that you guys would be good. - kritomiester 328.3 #482 11:04AM
My roommate has gotten me discounted tickets through MWR. She has never had to be with us when I used them. I know on the back of the ticket it said something about "military" I also didn't have to sign it. - Lelundrial
