Hi All, I had an update from Angry Donald and wanted to share but did not want to get it lost in all the wonderful prayers on his post from this afternoon. Rachel had a second procedure done this evening to remove fragments of vertebrae from her spine that are causing pressure and not allowing her nerves to heal. this surgery is going to help her regain full mobility so we need to pray it was successful. they won't know more till morning on how the surgery went but her whole family and sounds like his (chris aka angrydonald) is there too with her keeping her secure.
she is in the university of new mexico hospital, and i told donald everyone here would love to send cards to cheer her up as it sounds like she will be going through tons of therapy, etc. for those who did not know, she is 27, her mw name is princess daisy, she loves aurora, daisy, and neeko. and she loves to knit those mickey hats for people too.so if you want to send a card, start looking for a good one, and i will post the address tomorrow after donald/chris tells us how well she is doing. i think the amazing outpouring of everyone's love here has just really touched the whole family and is keeping rachel and them all strong.

got it vaderonsoarin. that is so nice. i just wanted to give him a chance to get through this night and then we can start sending cards or whatever he needs. i asked what his family might need too and then we could figure out if the Albuquerque "crew" can be bringing things or whatever. not sure if they need meals, or anything like that either, we could call one of the local churches if it gets to that. i wanted to see if any of the nurses on here could give advice, she is in one unit right now, but will be moved when things are better so we should make sure what the nurses there like us to send also. they seem like a really loving family as all are you so i hope we can help make this a little better. i will ask them too if it would be better if we sent everything to an address and had it taken over to the hospital in case that is hospital policy. thanks again, i, like you, just want to help them, it could have happened to anyone of us when we leave the parks. - secretagentangel 669.6 #154 10:46PM
