Anybody belong to the Disney vacation club? Do you have trouble booking rooms when you want to go?
I'm really just wondering about the club because I am thinking about joining and don't know that much about it. :) - DisneyPrincessFreak

We tried booking the Grand Californian on the first day we were able to, 6 months out, and no availability. We had to go with Paradise Pier and a standard room instead of a 1 bedroom. We are going in September, so not a really busy time, either. - lovethatdisney

talking with a DLR booking agent, seems that there are more properties @WDW to choose from. Not sure if that means your chances are better there in FL - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint

We do have trouble sometimes. It depends on the season. We got the room we wanted for September, but couldn't for July. We want to go to Aulani next summer and I'm worried about getting a week in the summer. - cinderelli

Like the others have said, depends on the season. My home resort is the Grand Californian so booking here isn't too bad if we book 11 months out. If we try to book 6-7 months out there's usually no availability at the Grand. Florida on the other hand has so many DVC resorts it's actually quite "easy" to book a resort. It may not be your first choice but you will generally get a room. I've stayed at Wilderness Lodge and Boardwalk so far. - EpicDio
