So I am super excited to ride Haunted Mansion next week because I have't been on the classic ride since 2008. I've only been there around Halloween Time since. I love NMBC but I am ready for the classic ride. What are your thoughts? Do you prefer classic, holiday or both?
Holiday version is better, simply because of the gingerbread smell in the dining room scene. - Slotherini

Classic just edges over NBC. Both are amazing though! - proudcanuck

we went @ Thanksgiving, just after Christmas and then again in February. seeing classic made me realize just how much work goes into transforming it- it's just amazing. I like them both for how different they are :) - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint

NBC is a nice change of pace. It def puts you in the Halloween spirit but nothing beats the classic - ...9

I can't say, because I've only been on it once (I know, I know 😔), and it was the classic. - robin_sparkles

First time I've gone non-holiday in a long time and it seemed like there were a couple of things I hadn't seen before. I've never noticed the gingerbread smell before--I'll have to pay attention to that this Christmas . - chancesr

I love the holiday version. When it in it original form I don't mind skipping the attraction when I visit. But when it's on during the holidays I have to go on. - Bambi.

I love both but the classic holds a special place in my heart. A lot of great memories. - VeloMouseGirl

Both are great, but I think classic edges out simply because of the RARE Disney dark humor of the elevator scene as well as all the tie ins with Pirates and such that never fully materialized. - shadowgamer

Both. But it's nice after the holidays when classic returns. - MyPark
