Hi dizluvr!!! - MsDisneyLove 168.2 #2028 10:56AM
They usually do things right though. Crossing fingers! - Tom 3820.9 #7 6:56AM
I hope it works out, especially for all boys and girls who appreciate Marvel characters. And can't stand Six Flags lol - MsDisneyLove 168.2 #2028 6:59AM
I totally agree Tom. Even the Avatar Land as well. - Disneybird 173.1 #1955 7:26AM
Six flags only has DC characters. - MayBie 1864.2 #40 7:29AM
Ahaha ur right , Maybie. But I still can't stand Six Flags - MsDisneyLove 168.2 #2028 7:40AM
I don't care how awesome they might look- they are not signing my Disney autograph book. - MayBie
1864.2 #40 7:31AM
Okay hold up. Why are so many people against this? Because they're not created by Disney? NEITHER are the star wars characters roaming around Tomorrowland! They have two attractions and a whole store dedicated to star wars! It may seem odd at first but it's a smart move for Disney as a company. I may not let them sign my Disney autograph book but I will definitely be looking forward to seeing and posing with them. - MayBie

Do some research on the history of pre-Pixar names, Lucas, Disney's Michael Eisner, and even Steve Jobs. In a nutshell, their drive to create with computer programs bound them together and exploded into what we have today and what we've yet to discover awaits in the future. - susieQzee 480.6 #245 3:44PM
In other words, they have a long history of working together. - susieQzee 480.6 #245 3:46PM
LOL are you trying to tell me about who created star wars? Disney originally passed on producing A New Hope. - MayBie 1864.2 #40 3:58PM
LOL ...no. I'm talking pre-1977's "A New Hope." Research SuperPaint, 1973, and see the list of familiar names slowly intertwine. You'll see how Lucas became connected with Disney. That's what you were asking about, right? - susieQzee 480.6 #245 4:10PM
No that was not what I was asking about. when you get down to it Star Wars characters are Lucas's Creations. He has a partnership with Disney. So why get so riddled up when Disney wants to use characters they bought? - MayBie 1864.2 #40 4:18PM
I admit I love comics and super heroes but I do not think the two should mix... but I do think my son and tom boyish daughter would absolutely LOVE this lol - Happybrandison

Let them roam Downtown Disney at the very most - PrincessDuckie
585.2 #187 3:12PM
I don't see how this goes with anything Disney related at all? Princess, fairies, and marvel characters?? Hmm don't think so. I hope they don't go through with this! It'll be like six flags is inside Disneyland. I - Ihavebeast

If this is true then BOOOOOOO disney. Ugh. Keep disney.......disney. Although pixar works because it meshed so well. Marvel.... Not so much. They belong at a B rate park. - DlandDude
259.7 #910 3:23PM
WOOF!!!! Sorry but it's been done at six flags and six flags is trashy. Leave Disneyland to the whimsical side of things!!! - Kittymeowmeow

I couldn't agree more! - susieQzee 480.6 #245 3:46PM
Whoa. I'm all for it. Yeah they're not all true Disney characters but like Maybie said, So aren't Star Wars either. I'm so looking forward to it. I'm even sporting my Avenger's tshirt that I got at the Disney Store. Which ever the outcome may be, it's going to be exciting to see them at the parks. ^___^ - iPoca.

I agree. At first glance star wars probably seemed like an odd choice, but look how much we love it now. I say give it a chance. - PartOfYourWorld 74.5 #3334 4:02PM
As long as they pull it off well, with Lands and everything. - LaTruce 1616.8 #45 4:16PM
But with Star Wars, it fits in with the theming of the land. Marvel superheroes just feel out of place. - rbeezy

Oh yuck. Sorry, knee jerk reaction, I'm a DC girl all the way. I still can't get over the random Marvel merchandise. What next? A Spiderman IASW doll swinging across the America scene. - BlackCanary86

.....that would improve the America area. I'm not too fond of it. The rain room used to be my favorite part of IASW
- MayBie 1864.2 #40 7:35AM
You'll have to go to six flags for dc lol I prefer justic league over avengers myself BUT marvel has done a phenomenal job in creating these movies and DC has not. They will probably fit right in with the incredbiles lol - KissDclown 1088.1 #77 4:51PM
yes. I would like to see them roam the hollywood area. That's where they would fit the most. - MayBie 1864.2 #40 9:23PM
Marvel, Star Wars, and Disney? Mind Blown!!! - ATankNamedFrank
317.3 #530 11:00AM
Why the heck would they do that? Stick with Disney and Star wars characters. Its not comicland or marvelland its Disneyland. Let the super heroes stick yo magic mountain and leave the magic kingdom alone. - theRealDisneygirlforevr
175.3 #1921 11:33AM
Can you please explain why star wars is okay but marvel isn't? Disney wouldn't fund star wars in the first place and only was interested when it made money. So why aren't marvel characters okay? Because they weren't Disney creations? By that logic Vader and the stormtroopers doing belong either - MayBie 1864.2 #40 3:06PM
👆 does this mean I have to go
Away? 😔 - VADERonSOARIN 524.0 #220 3:39PM
You can stay :) I just don't understand the logic of some people. Disney has a partnership with Lucas. So why can't Disney use Marvel characters to their full extent? Tget bought out Marvel! - MayBie 1864.2 #40 4:02PM
Whew, thanks I was a little worried. I gotta say I love marvel deeply and when Disney acquired them I was ecstatic! But a part of me wants to keep the magic true to walts original creation. Granted star tours isn't part of the original, but its not overwheling either and its been apart if the land for a good while now. I guess my main concern would just be making sure Disneyland does it right, and I know the imagineers are amazing. Just don't want it to be overwhelming with the addition. - VADERonSOARIN 524.0 #220 4:24PM
What a shame. First frogs & pigs now spider ppl and wolves?! I understand there's money to be made but "Disney" has darn near taken over the world. Maybe put that junk in DTD in a giant special store? - 559MickeyLover

I am not thrilled about this one but... 😒 - disneykimmi

This decision was made back when Disney first bought Marvel. I was working at Universal Studios when the purchase was made. Literally over night they removed the Marvel store and retired the character actors by morning! - elmickeyman

While I love my avengers I don't want them in the park. But thats just me. I think it would be weird to see Iron Man walking around the park. - Krismiss

How about a breakfast with the Marvel characters for boys? I'm pretty sure a 6 year old boy would love to get a sausage link off of Wolverines claws. - Slotherini

Whipped Cream from Spider Man's web shooters - Slotherini 882.4 #99 9:05PM
I think walt Disney himself would of disagreed with this dicesion. Disneyland is a place were he showed the world his dreams. Not someone else dreams, yes marvel is great! And I love everything about it. Just not at Disneyland :) - bustabeatgeorge
