I know its tough for everyone but its.just sad to see a person who became that 1% to serve, struggle after his tour of honorable service. If they did it for us its the.least we can do for them. As a Marine wife, I know firsthand how tough it is for service members to find a job. Most never went to college, and never had a job before joining the Military. That was their life. We have an advantage because we have time to further our education and branch out. My husband doesn't because he chose to serve our country. - CMshelleybee 428.1 #294 12:34PM

Home Depot hires reservists, spouses and veterans. Also, veterans can get a federal job. My roommate works for the feds and she was telling me how they are hiring all these veterans. Some of them even already have a job. - Lelundrial 341.4 #429 11:25AM

I think this is an awesome way to thank those who have given so much. I know first hand how difficult the transition to civilian life can be through my ex-husband's experience. Add to that a sagging economy and that transition becomes even more difficult. Thank you Disney! - VeloMouseGirl
