We're going to the Hojo for the first time in October for a family trip but it's not typically in our budget either. I've stayed at quite a few of the budget places and my favorite is the Super 8 on Katella. We usually pay around $50/night there. It's basic but the rooms are clean, the staff is friendly and their continental breakfast (muffins, cereal, juice, milk, toast, donuts) saves us some time and money in the morning. I usually stay at the La Quinta. use the corporate code LOVES for a cheaper discount. :) I've also heard Anaheim Plaza Inn is very nice. I have also stayed at Super 8 on Katella. Also, try Priceline name your own price option, plan far in advance and you might get a cheaper discount then if you reserve shortly before your trip. :) - Armenda  994.8 #89 10:34AM
