Hi I'm new here. Looks like a great app to have! I'm originally from orange county and had an AP for years until we moved to tx. I miss going all the time! I have a few quick questions: we are planning to come the week of 4th of July, I know it will be crowded but any advice on which day to go that week? We are only going to go one day and I have no idea which is the best since I was always blacked out on those days and avoided it! Also, we have a 2 year old and 1 year old, advice on what to do first? The 2 year old has also been on Matterhorn last year, she's tall! So we can do big kid rides or little kids first... Advice? I'm also thinking of 2 strollers instead of the bigger double? Would be easier with the crowds? Thanks and hope to become a regular poster on here!
Welcome to MW!! So many questions you have, so I will do my best ;) first of all, all of summer will be extremely crowded. So whatever day is most convenient for you and your family. Just prepare for crowds!! Your little one may not be able to ride Matterhorn again, due to the new seating arrangements thus making the height requirements different (no more lap sitting). I suggest going with the flow, and doing whatever sounds fun at the time since they are still so little :) and with the strollers, whatever you are more comfortable with. I remember going on a July 3rd eve a couple of years ago, and it was a lighter than a summer weekend. - Tom

If you are there during the weekend I suggest going on Saturday. It sounds weird but most of the annual passholders are blocked out so there are less locals which means lighter crowds. Last summer the hubby and I always went on Saturday's and for it being the summer it was pretty slow. - kritomiester

I'm not sure about the best day to go but I brought two strollers for my young daughters once and the double strollers other times. The double stroller is easier for us- one stroller, one person pushing it, and one following. I thought it would be easier with two but it isn't. - 2princesses
