The observation deck for a viewing of the submarine voyage. It was soooo awesome in there, I didn't think I would be able to see the ride again since I started having anxiety, this saved the day!
Private room with AC? I'm putting this on my list of stealthy places to breastfeed next trip! - cynDOLEwhip

It would be perfect! It is a great place to relax! I told my husband that I can't believe we are at Disneyland right now, just in a room all alone. - LisaMouse7531 409.1 #318 10:19PM
AC is good, cause Milk on a hot day is a bad choice... - KAJi 285.1 #703 11:05PM
I breastfeed there, POTC, IASW, Hunted Mansion and during the Aladdin show. - UncoolBunny 70.9 #3397 3:15PM
It was nice and roomy and a really cool way to experience the ride. There are two benches, that seat 2-3. It was just my husband and I in the room alone though. Even though we are two adults the cast member that took us in even did a little bit about heading under the water and our voyage, he was awesome. - LisaMouse7531

That's cool! We have only "rode" the observation deck, we really enjoyed it. But I don't remember getting a CM intro. - PrincessDuckie 588.4 #188 7:46AM
Ive yet to go in there, have to do it next trip! Cool pic - donnievegas

They usually have the ac on full blast too!!! Perfect when your baby is asleep and the rest wants to see Nemo 😉 - Elaine

Yes it was very nice and cool in there! - LisaMouse7531 409.1 #318 10:13PM
How does one get to go into the observation deck? The Submarines are a little too close for comfort for me haha - JoeDownTheRabbitHole

Just ask the cast member at the front of the line and they will show you where to go. It's off to the right of the line. - LisaMouse7531 409.1 #318 10:12PM
After seeing people in them while the subs broken down, I will only do the deck from now on. - LoveLove

You found the post! :) it really is a great way to experience the ride. I have anxiety and the trapped feeling is overwhelming in the subs, I never thought I would get to ride it again until I heard about this on MW. It may seem silly but I teared up a bit when it started because I hadn't been on it in so long. - LisaMouse7531 409.1 #318 10:49PM
I need to remember this next time I take my mom. - Krismiss

My mom is so excited. She is so claustrophobic and the Submarines were her favorite attraction as a child. - bugsmom1208

I went in there for the first time a few weeks ago. I thought you were actually in the submarine but in a seperate area...but this is just a room off from the line and shows video of the ride, so I was kind of disappointed, but it was better than being in that tiny submarine! - JenInWonderland

Wouldn't that defeat the purpose? The observation deck is actually because of ada, since the subs are not wheelchair accessible, and for those with claustrophobia, etc. why would someone with any of these conditions want to be inside the sub? - bluefairy 627.3 #174 10:23AM
Do you have to pay? My mother has anxiety and just can't take being in a sumberine ad this would make our next trip magical if she could experience this. - Disneylandismylife

Awesome! Do I have to ask a CM or do we just go up their? - Disneylandismylife 138.0 #2477 8:04AM
My step dad had a stroke, which caused his left side of his body to not function well, so he had to go to the observation room. He hated it and said that it was boring. - Ain1derland

It's a great experience in there and its the only way my mom & MIL can go on that attraction. The a/c is a nice bonus :) - SoCalJean

This is good to know. I can be terribly claustrophobic at times... As such I haven't been on these since they redid them... They seemed cramp as a seven years old. I can only imagin how they would be as a 30 year old. - lampwick

I went in there for the first time last week. It's pretty neat in there. Little bit of a different show too - KissDclown

Next time I go, I'm definitely going in there! I'm usually good in tight spaces and don't get caustrophibic easily, but it's way too cramped inside those subs! - JoeDownTheRabbitHole
