#LeapYear Alright my MW fam bam - I see a lot of us did not have a super magical evening.... BUT none the less, I am sure we all had a dash of a good time:) So here is the post lets spread the happy moments of that, that were Leap Year - One more Day of Disney :)

Yeah, I was bound to Disneyland for the entire 24 hours.  And yes, the event had some problems and didn't turn out like I expected.  But for me, the hands down highlight was you MouseWaiters. As I wandered around, I met and was met by many of you. To a person, each of you was warm, bright, positive, crazy, and the kind of person anyone would want to hang with. You all carry the true Disney spirit and I am honored to be counted among you! - PrinceCorey  4242.2 #6 2:16PM
Absolutely agree! My highlight as well! - MarshaMouse  2870.9 #15 2:21PM
Agreed! - toph  2398.9 #26 2:23PM
LOVE THIS!!! LOVE that i ran into MW even outside of meet ups:)! - BooEve123  800.3 #115 2:47PM

Well put PC as usual. - connielu  672.2 #153 6:39PM
Your comments fill my heart with joy. Even though I have only met a few MWers in person, I get my opinions just by reading the Lounge posts. I am proud to be a very small part of this large and wonderful family. - grumpypapa  543.1 #207 8:52AM
I spent 6hours (that felt like 1) at Coaster corner, hanging out with friends, new and old. I got to get my photo with Minnie, Mickey, Donald, and Daisy. And A Country Bear. I watched the sun rise over tomorrowland and the Hub, and laughed and felt the warmth of friendship all night. A true highlight- a young girl bumped into me and apologized. She had a bday button. It was her really bday. She was "3" (12). She was so sweet. I told her it was crowded bumping people happens, and we chatted, she was so excited to have spent her real birthday in the magic of Disneyland her eyes shone with joy. Her mom thanked me as we parted with tears in her eyes. Evie likely won't be here to celebrate 13. She has a terminal brain tumor. Perspective. - JenAnneWho  300.7 #610 2:20PM
:) JenAnne thanks for sharing this sweet story of the interaction with the little girl :) You are such a warm spirit I am glad she got to spend time chatting with you. *Prayers to the little girl and her family* - BooEve123  800.3 #115 2:51PM

What an amazing story. Thanks for sharing. The emotion I felt after reading it was overwhelming. I believe anything is possible, I hope she is there for the next leap day. - VanDisney  342.0 #427 11:09PM
I will start : Funny enough something about the parking ticket for M&F will be a piece of paper i cherish. It is evidence that I made it. Because they wre out of btns by the time I got to gate. I think two of my favorite memories of the evening was seeing how excited beau was to get a free captain EO pin. His little eyes sparked up. Then I will have to say I am so so thankful we stuck around for the astro blaster meet up. I am sorry I could not go around and meet you all I swear there were at least 80 of us. But I was able to say hi to friends I have not seen in months. Able to exchange hugs, laughs, and even suebayoe screams:) and seeing Mr Bill and Butterlina always just brighten up my night they both just are beams of energy :) Seeing everyones smiling face brighten up my night:)  - BooEve123  800.3 #115 10:30AM
CORRECTION UPDATE: My coworker just walked up behind me and gifted me a one day btn :)! I am so so soooo thankful right now I jumped out of my chair and threw my hugs around them and give them a big ole boooo hug:) The disney magic just leaped over into another day :) - BooEve123  800.3 #115 12:41PM
Awww how sweet! - NeverlandTink  421.4 #304 12:55PM
I am saving my parking ticket too! Seems like a rare gem! - Deltachiq  969.0 #90 5:07PM
I'm totally saving my parking stub too because I didn't get a button. I think yesterday was a record for me not spending a single penny in the parks (although I tried like MAD to find the black Jack Skellington mini hat to no avail). Despite the crowds, I was in the company of some of my favorite MWers and made the night fun with lots of people watching opportunities . I never get to partake in any thing crazy like this nor did I ever do a DL grad nite so I had a grand time, despite the occasional wafts of nasty. - Polkadobo  372.1 #371 6:17PM
Mine was 2-fold. #1. Walking into the back alley of NOS only to find the pirates performing. It was great to stop and enjoy something we wouldn't have if it wasnt packed. #2. enjoying the little details we never stop and look at. Once the lines were too crowded we stopped trying and just walked around. In the process we wound up at pixie hollow (where it was empty) with a young man asking us to take a photo of him and his girl. Then after agreeing had the honor of taking tons of photos while he proposed. - pridegirl  377.3 #362 1:11PM
Awww how sweet. What a great memory. - NeverlandTink  421.4 #304 1:20PM
That is awesome! - LaneSparrow316  846.9 #108 2:18PM
I got engaged 😍🏰💍❤ - lucybelle  6.7 #8444 1:09PM
I was not there, but my sons were. One son brought his CBU roommate, who had both been to Disneyland since he was 5. All five of the guys ran around all night, the whole 24, and did a video blog about their adventures. Yesterday at about 10am or so they all went on Splash Mountain. It was so empty that they each had their own log - all 5 of them! - PrincessKristin  774.5 #126 10:32AM
THAT SOUNDS EPIC:)! Man to be young again lol - BooEve123  800.3 #115 12:51PM
I loved seeing Capt.kirk dressed as poohBear in his orange LL cool jay track suit and him hugging me and lifting me up in the air. All the hugs I gave and decided were AWESOME! Filling up the carousel and filling up two jungle cruise boats, but watching us try to count everyone was priceless to yell out a number because we kept getting it wrong AND to top it off more would jump in and throw off the count! I loved seeing everyone! - MarshaMouse  2870.9 #15 1:08PM
I got home and slept 3 hours and came to work! It was SO worth it, although my eyes and body want to sleep SO badly! It was insane but I loved seeing everyone! - MarshaMouse  2870.9 #15 1:10PM
OMG I wish i saw Cpt outfit! SOmeone post a pic:) - BooEve123  800.3 #115 1:12PM
So happy you made it out. :) - AshleyLynn22  747.6 #136 1:13PM

I loved his outfit! It was AWESOME!! - MarshaMouse  2870.9 #15 1:17PM
Awww marsha you are priceless! - CptKirk  697.0 #142 5:18PM
OMG where do I begin. After a full year being on MW and being in the parks all that time and never being able to meet anyone, I got to the 8:00 Jungle Cruise meet up, first of the night, and meeting 25+ MW'ers. I was so awesome, I was so excited to meet so many all at once. SueBayou, HanNLeia, Marshamouse, scarfgirl,Slotherini, and all their friends, please forgive me if I didn't list you as you were just as important as those I mentioned. Later at another meet up there was Dave, CaptKirk, Kris, Prince Corey, BooEve my cyber hugger. And I saw Ladylikesdisney and couldn't get over to say hi before we broke up to the next meet. uscdisneyteacher, Duffers and so many more, but when I look at my pix I will remember names and post a reply to this. Had such a great time just being there and meeting you all and sharing it with you. Didn't make it all the way, left at 0400 and walked back t our hotel. Bad knees from 6 surgeries just didn't make it. Thank you all for being so nice, approachable and fun to be with. Need Kleenex now. - splashphotoCM  880.9 #101 1:31PM
Sounds like a MW Oscar's list there :-) - Villescas8(V8)  589.1 #185 1:36PM

Didn't you have TWO desserts, Jen?😘 - Gia  785.5 #121 5:57PM
She had some chocolate thing too - shadowgamer  1954.3 #37 1:25PM
We had a great time! Met alot of nice people! Highlight of the night was Billy, Billy, Billy and Billy's 1:45am show!!! I don't think they expected a packed house with all their fans. Great show!!!!! 🎸 We had fun 24! - Boundin  425.3 #299 12:49PM
Great to hear! Can you believe I still have never seen that show :( - BooEve123  800.3 #115 12:50PM
You are missing out Boo! It's a blast, you won't be disappointed. - PrincessDuckie  588.1 #187 1:01PM
I had fun. Yeah, it was tiring. I didn't run in to any drunks, rude people, or some of the negatives I've read about. I got to see some people I like and hadn't seen in a month or two. That was very nice. Would I do it again? Yes. - Tom  3873.0 #7 1:46PM
I completely agree! All my amazing MW peeps had sooo much fun! We didn't experience all that negativity, it was seriously a blast for us too! ^_^ - iPoca.  905.8 #96 1:55PM
I didn't come across many drunks or rude people either. It was definitely crowded, the crowd was younger than usual, and there were a lot more smokers than usual. The lines, especially for food were far longer than I expected them to be. But I was in good company, had dinner reservations at Blue Bayou, and managed to still have a great time. But I probably wouldn't do it again because I think maybe I was just oblivious to some unsavory behavior. - Mimmy  1405.6 #57 2:06PM
I had a great time too! Yes I saw the negatives...but all in all...it was fun and I would do it again. I went on one ride...iasw and was completely content with that. My favorite was seeing friends I met thru the MW. All of the laughs shared at the bizarre things we don't normally see in the park. I'm pretty sure you could put all of the friends I've made here in a room ANYWHERE and we'd find a way to laugh the time away. Thanks for starting this Boo😘 One of the highlights was seeing Loridrives and MrDaisybell both roll up to the Hub in wheelchairs, that story in itself had me😂😂😂 - toph  2398.9 #26 2:14PM
My top moments are a 4 way tie - Cara's Carousel pose, Meeting BOO!!!, Cruising with CMBaloo in the JC and lastly the 2am conga line around the hub (I just posted the video!) - SuperCooper  818.1 #112 1:47PM
What how bout all the pictures we took together. Even though I didn't get too take one with DV - HanLostLeia  1092.6 #76 2:05PM
Oh, I should post that pic! - Mimmy  1405.6 #57 2:07PM
Post all of them lol. - HanLostLeia  1092.6 #76 2:08PM
Oh yeah I forgot about the cuddle pic. POST IT!! - SuperCooper  818.1 #112 2:11PM
I turned around and you guys were no where in sight! I had a blast with you guys!!! - MarshaMouse  2870.9 #15 2:12PM
Whatever Marsha, you ditched us. - SuperCooper  818.1 #112 2:59PM
Right Rick?? - HanLostLeia  1092.6 #76 3:02PM
Dave told me the same thing...I was like I followed MW...this is where it lead me, I lost and found people several times - MarshaMouse  2870.9 #15 3:32PM
I had a great day! I loved that MWers are so considerate of my daughter and played on the kid rides so we could be included. The Jungle Cruise meet up was amazing. I loved seeing friends and meeting new ones. And dinner at Blue Bayou was amazing with Kimantha G2T M4L and Amy (sorry can not remember you MW name but I got the Amy part down) and her mom and the whole cow!! The day with Scarfgirl Jillian and others was great too. Love all of you!! - Deltachiq  969.0 #90 5:05PM
I will always be up for Fantasy Land ATTRACTIONS!!! Since there's only one RIDE in Disneyland. - HanLostLeia  1092.6 #76 6:49PM
I had so much fun hanging out with you and your daughter! She's so cute :D I hadn't been on the carousel or Casey Jr in YEARS so that was really fun for me. - Jillian  765.4 #129 8:39AM
Let's see... I got to talk to a guy who works for the OC Register and Around Disney.com on the way in on the bus. Turned out he used to be an imagineer and helped design much of DCA. Upon arrival at the main gates I managed to get 2 of the buttons and then proceeded down to hang out with everyone waiting at Coaster Corner for a few hours. Was pretty cool that one of the ragtime piano players came out and played some tunes after the scheduled times marked there. We all then headed over to Jungle Cruise where I hasseled PirateAl to lead me because she was a plaid, CMBaloo's boat on Jungle Cruise, discovering something new on Haunted Mansion, King Arthur's takeover, Astro Blasters Meetup and running into my friend who happened to be in line for Astro Blasters as we were standing around, Booeve's surprise visit, Blue Bayou late night/ early morning crew dinner/breakfast - shadowgamer  1954.3 #37 5:31PM
Great post, Boo! It was definitely worth it! Started my day off at the Grand, thanks to SUUZinOC and Lilsterner sharing their room. Met Suuz for a nice lunch at Jolly Holiday - grilled cheese sandwich and lobster bisque soup (yummy!), got the requisite leap year tshirt then headed back to our room for a nap. First thing we did back at the park was deltachiq's meetup at Jungle Cruise ( thanks for letting us cut in line, guys!) and another great tour by CMBaloo! A crazy group pic in Fantasyland, then the carousel (which I video'd and am working on posting). Astro Blasters meetup, then Blue Bayou...right next to the water!....with some awesome friends that I have met through MW! Stayed til 4am(ish), slept, then breakfast with Suuz & Lilsterner at Storyteller's. A bit of shopping at DL then home. I feel so fortunate to have spent such an amazing time with such awesome people -new and old friends! Truly a special day! - Gia  785.5 #121 6:19PM
I was so so glad I got to see you too:) can't wait for your bday meet up I hope I can swig on by;) - BooEve123  800.3 #115 6:21PM

Great meeting you too Gia. - splashphotoCM  880.9 #101 11:37AM

Thanks BooEve123 We were brave until we were shivering in cold shoes afterwards. Still, it was worth it 😉 - LAFDWifey  81.5 #3262 1:50PM
I had so much fun last night! I danced my butt off, I ate good food, and I got to see 2 consecutive sunrises at the partner's statue, all while with excellent company. It was a little crowded, but I have no complaints!! - ladylikesdisney  921.5 #95 12:45PM
Ditto < 3 - Jacqueline  546.7 #205 1:08AM
First MW meetup for me and bubbymia. And then another and another. Then dinner at Blue Bayou. It was great meeting all of you. Special thanks to kimantha and my arch nemesis, groove2 trance. You guys are awesome - Mouse4life  1080.4 #78 12:47PM

Well after getting trampled for getting the LE hats we left to go sleep and when we came back the lines were insane , backed up all the way to DCA . Right when we wee about to turn around and go home, I get a phone call from a friend who I haven't seen since new years and she pulled some strings and got us through! I was shocked I haven't been that excited in months haha. After we got inside we went straight to jungle cruise to catch baloo and got to get a hug from him but was off the clock b the time his boat came around , so it was great to see him! And ran into grey friends , Princess Vanessa, Vincent Chase, MarshaMouse,Principessa and many more!! Although we only got on one ride I LOVED seeing old friends and making memories!! I can say I slept at Disneyland till opening!! That's pretty cool! - BubbaLoo  826.2 #109 1:06PM
Im so glad to hear you got to see everyone sorry we miss hun * virtual hugg* glad you held up to was worried about ya - BooEve123  800.3 #115 1:12PM

Hey you forgot about us total fail - HanLostLeia  1092.6 #76 2:52PM
Wow!! Wth I'm stupid haha - BubbaLoo  826.2 #109 3:01PM
I also saw a proposal!! It was so unique. Family members got on the Columbia and the couple were waiting to see them sail by, as they got near the couple the family opened this huge sign saying will you marry me(I was on the boat so I don't know details) and you can see her jump up and down and into his arms. Very nice to see! - MarshaMouse  2870.9 #15 1:22PM
Eventhough my hubby was dead tired after work yesterday, he took me and our son after we picked him up. We got there around 5, so the crowd was low. It was so nice to say we were there, especially with our little guy. Then we ate at Cafe Orleans, very yummy! We took our little guy on Jungle Cruise for the first time and he loved it! The best part was getting home, putting little one to bed, getting into our nice warm bed and being happy we weren't in those crazy lines lol! - kss4tink  216.8 #1396 1:22PM
Shameless bump to keep it postive:)  - BooEve123  800.3 #115 4:27PM
😘 - MarshaMouse  2870.9 #15 4:54PM
Bury the junk :) - Spoonful_O_Sugar  436.3 #285 4:55PM
one of my fav. moments was getting to talk to and joke around with a lovely couple as we sat and waited for fantasmic! plus, watching Fantasmic made me sooooo happy and gave me that extra boost after a long day to continue going into the morning hours. it was so much fun getting to talk to so many different people last night as we all waited in lines for various rides and food and shows. my only regret was not getting to find any MWers! phone was dead and i couldn't remember meet-up areas, i was so unprepared. however I do feel like I'll still have that opportunity in the future yes? ;) - crustle  625.1 #175 5:03PM
Love hearing you got to see fantasmic we got there a little to late for that gave up hope and ended up in tommrow land. That show really does bring so much joy to a night. of course there will be many meet up opportunities:) - BooEve123  800.3 #115 5:06PM
Seeing world of color in the front and getting soaked with my sister and good friends- then taking pictures with the characters in their pjs- also after riding star tours a bajillion times I WAS THE REBEL spy! It made my day! Also watching modern family being filmed because I absolutley love that show!!! Going to the park in my pjs! Waiting in a mob of peole to renter the park and just talking to random people about fun Disney facts!!! Riding mr toads wild ride at four in the morning to get warm!!! Yesterday was awesome-crowded/busy...but still I can't say I didn't have a wonderful time! - Mouseketeer.for.Short  335.3 #451 5:17PM
LOL HEYYY that is a great idea you went through the roam of heat lamps on MR Toads huh :)! - BooEve123  800.3 #115 5:18PM
It's the place I could tink that would be warm!!!!! Hahahaha! - Mouseketeer.for.Short  335.3 #451 5:38PM
My day was fun and star struck. We seen the whole cast of modern family in fifteenth scenes during the day. Had a No line fun time at both Parks. Went back to the hotel to rest up then back to both Parks. And seen Shaun white pass us by while Leonardo Decaprio( spelling) stood by us I tried to get photos but it's so dark by the train station @midnight. Seen a proposal at space mountain and left at 5:30. All in all it was a great night even the really drunk girl in star tours made the ride funner. - maxinerenton  415.1 #311 5:19PM
NICE i used to love Leo haha he was my teenage heartthrob... glad to hear you had a blast! - BooEve123  800.3 #115 5:24PM
My fifteen year old self would have fainted if Leo was standing so close by, lol! I saw him from afar at a Lakers game once and was so excited! - Spoonful_O_Sugar  436.3 #285 5:26PM
I saw Shaun White pass by me on Indiana Jones! - Jaytasmic  373.3 #367 5:33PM

Super fun!! - MarshaMouse  2870.9 #15 6:46PM
Love reading all your experiences. Keep them coming please! - PrincessDuckie  588.1 #187 6:41PM
It was a long two hours from Harbor and Ball just to park and an extra hour waiting outside Disneyland gates but it was totally worth it. Met some new MW'ers and hung out with good people. And Tinky gave me a pin, since they were out by the time I arrived. All in all, I had a great night/morning ^_^ Good times. - sarahpie  275.3 #775 6:46PM
My only complaint is I have a stupid phone. I hoped to get to meet some MWers and partake in the shenanigans but I couldn't get on MW all night. I had a blast anyway. I didn't notice any of the negative stuff except a few rude people. After reading MW today, I realized I missed a lot of stuff going on because it was just so difficult to walk around. Still lots of fun. I hope they do more 24 hr events, maybe less people would go after the novelty wears off. - Twitterpated  230.9 #1229 7:57PM
I know! Its a shame all of us had a hard time going on the app. - iamdugsmaster  756.8 #133 10:34PM
I didn't have any negative experiences with it.  I think we got there at the right times.  The guy smoking on Pirates kind of threw me off, but I loved seeing Security get on it and escort him out.  My complaint was waiting for the tram at 6:20 this morning!  I've got the worst Disneyland hangover of my life but proudly wore my tee shirt all day.   - 415beachgirl  469.0 #259 8:07PM
Just hanging out with my mom was fun! We have braved then over night at Disney before being chaperones for grad night so we made it fun! - Briana  225.7 #1295 1:02AM
Well as I mentioned in an earlier post I made today, MW was not working well for me. If it did manage to load, it would lose connection after hitting refresh and what not. But my Uncle and I went together, got there at 4:30am. My Uncle can be impatient and crafty, so he walked and found some folks near the front of the “pink” wristband group to let us walk in with them. Ended up meeting Mickey74 and two other AMAZINGLY nice MWers who’s screennames I regretfully cannot recall. We ended up getting into the park by 6:15am and practically walked onto every attraction until 10am when we left to go to DCA. It was my first time there in over eight years. We went on ToT twice, Screamin’ twice, Monsters Inc, and TSMM which I found to be extremely awesome and couldn’t believe it was only a 45 minute wait! We hung out until WoC and got 8 minutes into it when we overheard a lady say that DL was getting ready to hit capacity. So we bolted for DL, and sure enough, the place was getting mobbed and we were told that if we leave again, even to go to our locker which was outside since the inside ones were all used up, then we wouldn’t be able to get back in. A policy that I think needs some major revising. Some folks from that time (8:30pm) on were just rude and, in this MWers opinion, undeserving to even be with seeing distance of the Matterhorn. We hit some really bad traffic jams, and people would literally come up from behind and do a shoulder/elbow maneuver to get in front of you and push you back into others at the same time. Others would deliberately ram peoples feet with strollers or motorized wheel chairs and Rascals. People were smoking in random parts of the park, and many times in my last few hours at the park, I smelled marijuana. Even saw one guy downing a can of Bud Lite really fast and tossing the can off to the side. And I got to see a pretty bad scuffle at the NOS Train Station. One of the kids jumped the railing from the train station, cleared the planter, and almost landing on people waiting for the restrooms below, all in one single leap. Noticed another scuffle later near Adventureland on my way out at 1am. It deeply saddened me that I did not get to meet more MWers this visit. I do hope some will be there next week, as I’m giving the wife a break and will be bringing my son for some DL father/son time - TheBudd  357.3 #397 1:23AM
Wow that's quite an experience! I also smelled weed from time to time but just vaguely. Sad u couldn't make it to the meetups but hopefully next week will be better! - Kimantha  188.4 #1769 1:30AM
I'm sorry you experienced that. I, too, smelled it from time to time as well. What really annoyed me was as ladylikesdisney, kristian and I were waiting to watch the sunrise from the Hub - a group of guys and girls were smoking cigs just as they made it onto Main Street but carelessly threw ALL of them on the ground by the trolley tracks. Just plain disrespectful. - Jacqueline  546.7 #205 1:37AM
Thanks, Kimantha. I sure hope it is, sounds like my wife wants to attend our outing now, though.. lol, she wants to see DCA. And Jacqueline, I'm sorry you had to see that as well. But at least it can confirm my story to be true for folks who didn't go! Lots of people had such disrespect for the night :( - TheBudd  357.3 #397 9:31AM
OP says "happy" moments. - bluefairy  627.1 #174 12:50PM
LOL, bluefairy! I've got some happy moments in that story. Had a great time with my Uncle, got to see WoC, walked onto most rides throughout the day until late afternoon. And did get to run into some MWers even tho the darn app would never load. - TheBudd  357.3 #397 2:30PM
All told it looks like we were there for between 11 and 12 hours from car to car. We walked out the gates around 1AM. While it got less fun near the end (there came a point where I did not feel safe leaving the stroller for fear something would walk off) we had a fun time. We went knowing it would be crowded and we knew we would not stay until 6AM. We went where the wind blew us. (Which is harder but more of an adventure when MW isn't working because you can't check wait times!) This trip we spent a lot of time talking to CMs a lot more. Most of them seemed to appreciate the extra smile and the fact that we were in no hurry whatsoever and not yelling at them. So many of them were just wonderful with the kids! Ran into SueBayou and finally got to meet her which was wonderful! Stopped by the Buzz meetup and at least got to wave hello and get in the picture. We ended up not going on because the kids were getting hungry(and thus cranky) and the line was a wee bit long. Another time and another meet up :) This trip I spent a lot more time looking at the little details in the parks (and making my husband take pictures of them) and letting my kids make me laugh, which they are so good at. One thing that we thought was too much fun was the random playing of songs over the park system (Was it every hour? I lost track of time!) Every time a song came on the kids would stop and start dancing and would not go anywhere until the song was over. It was too funny! So glad we went! - Autoalice  135.7 #2509 1:01PM
I had a great time on leap day! I tried cherry sour balls for the first time, got two new vinyls, went on Alice at exactly 12 midnight, found a new hm and,Heehee, stared at MarshaMouse in nos as she went walking by! Even the fact that no one was there when I went to peter pan for the meetup can't get me down. And I loved how at midnight the loudspeaker guy said '"it is now midnight!" And they started playing that music. Leap day at DL was a very interesting, fun and extremely tiring-but-worth-it experience! - theRealDisneygirlforevr  175.3 #1923 1:04PM
I'm thankful that I had my AP. I think it would have been a bit of a drag had I paid for the day. But I still had a great time hangin with friends and family at DLand until 6am and also thought it was cute when we were "high foured" by cast members wearing Mickey gloves on the way out. All in all it was a good time. - DLandFan1977  3.5 #17209 1:05PM
I have to agree. It was totally disorganized. I left later in the evening to enjoy the late festivities and it took us over 3 hours to park, then over 2 hours to get into the park. People pushing and shoving. People abusing the handicap passes, and being hit by strollers and wheelchairs. I also think its rude that so many people took the free collector stuff like the ears and programs and abused it. I now see tons of people profiting on eBay when others couldn't even enjoy one. It upsets me that so many people are so greedy. But at the end of the day, just being able to go and get in (eventually) and enjoy it with so many other fans, was worth it! ❤ - crailtap81  248.9 #1023 1:10PM
I had an awesome time at omdd with my bf. We were in the parks 830am-4pm & 830pm -330am. I definitely felt some extra pixie dust during the day. There was an excitement in the air i hadnt felt in years. It was amazing seeing so many characters roaming the park and waving like they were welcoming you into thier home (not just standing in one place with CM's for meet & greets & photos)...it totally felt like it did when I was little. To me it seemed more guests were talking to each other in line swapping stories and smiling. The cm's even seemed to have an extra bounce in thier steps which i never thought was possible! It was really magical. After a nap back at the hotel we went back to dl and things definitely had changed but it just seemed like any place where you get a mass amount of people there are always bad & rude eggs. One thing I love about dl is how you can make your experience your own. We used up our fastpasses and stopped by jungle cruise (haven't been upstairs in years! A 45 min wait and it was a treat to be up there!) til 1030 when it was crazy in adventureland & NOS and we were afraid to wander far before our blue bayou seating at midnight. We slowly roamed through the shops in NOS and enjoyed ourselves away from the crowds. My cousin barely made it in the park and met us for dinner. I met my first and only mw'er sue bayou @ the blue bayou:) I had a fantastic dinner, rode pirates & space mountain. By 330am I was wiped and left. I had a fantastic time and was sooo glad I made the trip:) I saw some not so great behavior from guests but the magical wonderful moments still outweighed the negative. - supertracy  435.6 #286 1:43PM
Leap Day is an experience I will truly never ever forget!!!! My sister couldn’t go with me cos of school so I went solo from 4-8pm till the JC meet-up. I was getting scared that I would be by myself the whole night that MW was down 99% of the time. Fortunately, my sister was able to help me find out and research for me from home the times of the meet-ups. It’s there that I met x2ndstartotherightx and erINwonderlandCM. We bonded right away and after the meet-up decided to split away from the group and go on our own adventure. Unfortunately erINwonderlandCM had to leave right away  :( so we decided to still go on an adventure. Oh boy…this is when it gets awesome. We stayed on the train from about 11 pm till 230 am. It was pure madness outside that staying on the train gave us time to chat, relax, people watch, gasp at the madness at the front gates, and nap a little. This is the greatest experience of riding the train for me…EVER! I will never forget my crazy experiences and the friendships I made with these two girls!  Just thinking about these moments brings tears to my eyes! Thank U Mousewait for coming into my life!!!! I appreciate it!!!!  - iamdugsmaster  756.8 #133 8:30AM
It was nice meeting you yesterday - Addiction  55.3 #3650 10:38PM
My boyfriend and I had an amazing 22 straight hours in DL, the last 2 hours were not so wonderful. I was so sleep deprived and frozen, he had to drag me around trying to find a warm place in the park. We ended up falling asleep in pizza port for the last 30 minutes of the event. Thankfully we avoided most of the drunk people who came in late and the long lines as well. - MortiMouse  118.8 #2756 10:59PM
