Don't mean to sound like a bummer, but...am I the only one who doesn't quite understand the tremendous hype over this leap day thing? I mean don't get me wrong, any Disney day is a great day to me! And whenever the park is open late when I'm there I'm happy...but great googly, max capacity?? It would take a little more than a button to get me waiting in that aweful traffic.. Not even fireworks I hear? 😔
It's Disneyland for 24 hours!! I think that's awesome and it's history! I wouldn't mind the crowds to much because I would always rather be sitting on a bench people watching in Disneyland then in my bed at home! - disneygirl19

I was really excited and wanted to do 1am fantasmic but it was so busy and claustrophobic that we left. It's bad, the worst I've ever seen the crowds. I knew it would be busy but never thought it would be that uncomfortably full - Pixarprincess

I think the fact that being open from the hours of 12-6am is what attracted a lot of people. For some people it's the chance of getting to say "I was there" or "I experienced this". That is what a lot of people are aiming for as well as the stories and shenanigans that went down during those hours that they'll be telling friends/family/peers the following day: Disney After Dark. - rbeezy
