Probably, since it's dry. We live in an area where there are tons of rattlesnake warnings, but I've only seen 2 rattlesnakes in 5 years. Prepare yourself: know what to do if you see one in your yard, talk to your kids about what they should do if they see one, and if you have a dog, get him vaccinated. Also, be sure to keep screen doors shut so they don't get inside. (Yikes!) Diablo Canyon is way up in no mans land..lol. Yes a dry area but just like all of CA. It depends on rain but there is a nice gated community @a the Diablo Grande Country Club but last time I was there not a lot of houses that were occupied and there are dear, coyote, raccoons and other wild animals too...lol - yellowtonka  237.7 #1138 5:30PM
