A question for Broadway nerds like myself. What's your favorite Broadway version of a Disney film? I love The Lion King but Mary Poppins is spectacular as well! Has anyone else had the chance to see any?
The lion king is stopping by my town this year and was thinking about catching it any endorsements - VADERonSOARIN

I LOVED the opening of lion king and all the puppetry but was kind of bored by the script. I saw Rent the following night and fell in love - Polkadobo 372.1 #372 4:19PM
Ooohh rent. I've been lucky to see it three times. I know every word! - madsdad 1130.7 #72 4:27PM
I've seen it twice and know all the words too! It's tied with Into the Woods for my favorite musical. - Polkadobo 372.1 #372 4:29PM
I'm with you Polkadobo. The thing is, the costimes were beautiful, the sets were fantastic, the singing, phenominal, the chreography fantastic, the acting decent. But the script was just boring. The movie didn't translate to stage well. I was in Vegas with a group of agents and we got it comp'ed so I stayed out of respect. We had ppl that left saying they were bored and I couldn't say I felt diffeerently. Oddly enough though, I'm dying to see Mary Poppins. - Poisen_Ivy 258.6 #924 4:35PM
Right on the money poesinivy! - Polkadobo 372.1 #372 5:03PM
The script did get a little muddled down in places, however "Shadowlands" was one of the best songs I've ever heard. - lostgirl7988 541.6 #208 10:07PM
Beauty and the Beast was great! Lion King was better and I am DYING to see Mary Poppins!! - AKMouse

I'm super stoked about Aladdin but I have to say my favorite so far is Little Mermaid with Tarzan a close second.
