Two weeks until our Disney vacation! For all you locals, what is the best beach for us to visit with two kids on our Disney-off days? We will have a rental car :)
I've heard Laguna Beach is really nice :) but being in ca our water is really cold. - SkellyMouse

when i lived in cali laguna beach was always my favorite even though i lived less than a mile away from the ocean, we'd travel about 30-40 minutes sometimes to go there! it's very pretty and very well kept up! - kritomiester

If your kids are young Dana Point has baby beach. Lots of yummy places to eat there too :) - Nicole

I also love grabbing food/drinks at Fishermans at the San Clemente pier. My daughter loves it there cause the train goes by often, there's swings right on the sand and a great walking path. If you walk about a mile north there's a park overlooking the ocean. - Nicole 380.2 #356 10:24AM

Read online about Crystal Cove (between Newport and Laguna beach). Also read about Dana Point. I think both of these places are charming because they are not your typical beach excursion. But I love them for that reason! - LishaBear
