Hi Chub33 friends! Long time no post... this working thing is a b*tch! I go to work, come home, walk the dog and spend the entire night doing my mom's paperwork (got her taxes ready for the CPA last night). To update...she's not doing so good. I'm going back to San Diego on Saturday to look for a long-term facility for her (we've pretty much abandoned the idea of her going back home). She has her good days, but most I think that she's just tired (still on a feeding tube and not doing too well with the physical therapy). On the positive side, I've been a good little dieter since Feb.1 - I'm pretty much back to where I was last summer. My new job is challenging since I'm SO technically challenged, but I have good employees. Anyway, I haven't been posting a lot - I'm SO tired at the end of the night... but I'm still here and thinking of all of you!!!
I've been thinking about you. I'm sorry about your Mom. It sounds like you have a lot on your plate right now. It takes a lot to continue on plan during this time. Keep your head up! - Mrs.mouse

I've missed you, MDM! Been thinking about you :) wow--you've got a lot going on. Continued prayers and good vibes for your mama. And I hope your new job is going well, despite the technology challenges You'll pick it up fairly, quickly, I think. My old college roommate worked for a local cell phone business. She was totally clueless about technology when she was hired (seriously, we used to laugh so hard about it!), but she had the right personality for the job: honest, hard working, and sincere. Hey MDM, glad to hear the update. God job on sticking with the diet, with everything else that's going on. Sorry to hear about your mom. I have a friend in SD that owns a placement service, if you're interested. I don't believe there is a charge.
