I don't understand this lent thing much. I think as long as you are still living a healthy lifestyle do what makes you happy go to Disneyland you have one life to love and live it to your fullest and your happiest as long as you are responsible, paying bills, and it does not hurt you or there's why give up happiness.... I overheard some boys at work saying you are supposed to give up somethig that is like Un balanced in your life that you can see as being pleasurable, a luxury overly induldged upon for some religiouse thing. My parents didn't have me attend Sunday school or church so I musta missed the memo. if that was the very least I could do for God, of course I'd give it up. I live I'm nor cal so giving up disney isn't really a sacrifice for me but if I was someone who went all the time, yes Id give it up. I gave up Starbucks this time.
