It's a sad day at Disneyland. Ernie, the guitarist in NOS, passed away this afternoon. I will never forget the many hours I sat listening to him create beautiful music, and the warm smile he was so generous with. Thank you, Ernie, you will be missed.
This is horrible news and I am sad that he had to go. I used to watch him play on a daily basis while working in NOS. When he was done with his set, he had to climb the stairs of Court of Angels and I used to keep an eye on him while he climbed the stairs while carrying his guitar and his stool. He's been at the park since day 1 and not seeing him in the park was a rarity. Also, he was one of the last CMs to get hired by Walt himself. He's also played with jazz legends and even performed with Frank Sinatra. We have lost not only a Disney legend, but a music legend. - BaseballMickey_CM
