Okay guys, I need some help. I've started phase 1 of the South Beach diet and I don't know what to eat when I come to Disneyland. I can't have any breads, rice, pasta, potatoes, sugar, fruit, or alcohol. Any "in park" dining suggestions? Guess no churros or frozen bananas for me! :-(
Sooooo what can you eat? ;) Good luck! - ladylikesdisney

I trying to avoid that, but man! It's tempting! I really wanted some tasty drinks at Trader Sams! - hunnybee7777 184.9 #1810 7:57PM
You might also want to post this in the Chub33 forum--there are a few MWers who are doing SB in there who might have some good advice :) - Spoonful_O_Sugar

And I'm not too familiar with SOuth Beach, but I would think Bengal Barbeque chicken or beef skewers without any sauce would be good! - Spoonful_O_Sugar 436.3 #285 6:56PM
I'm not seeing frequent posts in chub33. It's not the same kind of forum as this one, right? - hunnybee7777 184.9 #1810 7:36PM
Yep! It's just a much smaller community--you won't get answers right away, but it's a specialized forum, so you'll probably get more accurate answers :) - Spoonful_O_Sugar 436.3 #285 7:39PM
I try to stick to Bengal BBQ or you can get baked chicken at plaza inn, and in dca there is that greeK place with the skwers and corn on the con. It's pretty easy to stick to just meat and veggies! - akpoppins

What about the italian chef salad at the pizza place in DCA and just get vinegar for dressing and take off the cheese? - yellowtonka

Or how about the skewers from the mediteranean resturant in DCA...or maybe even call and talk to someone at Disneyland because basically all you can have is vegis and meat protein right? - yellowtonka 237.7 #1138 7:04PM
I agree stick with bangle BBQ. The food is yummy there. - Mrstefer

Yes, salads I can do. I can have most white cheeses also. No corn on the cob tho. :-( It's full of carbs. No carrots either. - hunnybee7777

That diet has been known to make peoples hair fall out, among other things. Look into the Paleo diet. You at least can have some really good foods, just most of it is organic. - TheBudd

it's basically the same diet, but you can make "paleo" type breads at least to make sammiches with. There is this one you make out of almond butter and honey. SOOOO good. - TheBudd 357.3 #398 7:35PM
