Not technically Disneyland talk, but at one point Disney did own both the Queen Mary and the Spruce Goose. Back in the 90's before they gave up the lease, Disney was planning to build a water based theme park in Long Beach. Pic is from earlier today.

True story! I was 11 and my sister was 8 in early 1992 when our parents took us to DL and we were going on Matterhorn. My Mom and I had gotten in the car and had a chance to buckle, and my Dad was just barely lifting my sister into the bobsled when the CM decided to launch us while my sister wasn't even seated yet and my mom and I were unbelted. People in line were just in shock. Anyways, a couple groups of guests went with us to City Hall to complain. Disney comped us a 2 night, all expense paid stay on the Queen Mary in a luxury suite. - TheBudd

it was pretty terrifying. seeing my sister dangle from the sled while it moved. My poor dad was actually in tears.
