Attention Photographers: What kind of camera is deemed to professional by Disney? I have a good friend who has offered to take some graduation photos for me but we are worried her camera (Canon Rebel 35mm) might be deemed to professional since its what she does for a living. Any advice? Thanks!
I have a very nice camera but don't take it to the parks because of size and weight. I have, however seen people carrying some pro outfits with large lens, flash and drive with no problem. - Stumickey

I didn't know Disney had a ban on "professional cameras". If they do it must be in writing somewhere. - Boundin

i don't know Disney parks is strict with that... But i guess, it depends on the accessories you brought inside the park. I used to carry a tripod before, they didn't say anything, except that I should just stand beside it whenever i am taking pics. It is for safety purposes. - otilegna

I frequently carry a DSLR, three or four lenses (300mm longest), and a tripod with no problem. I think it's probably a bigger issue if your friend is carrying around reflectors and stuff that make it look like a "photo shoot". - ArchaeoMouse

I carry my dslr every visit, the only real time I got talked to by security was when I had my tripod set up. They said I couldn't stop too long in on place, but that wa just one time. Guests did come up to me asking questions though haha. - chris.

I carry my Canon T2i with lens bag holding 2 extra lenses all the time and noone has ever blinked an eye at me... I believe they do have a policy against tripods you cant fold up though.. - shadowgamer
