So I just ward from a CM that DL is working on a way to bring back the People Movers for the 70th in 2015. Can anyone confirm this?
OSHA won't allow it with out MAJOR changes. Look what they had us do to Alice in wonderland. Doubt it will happen from what I have been told. - BalooTBear

I've heard of people getting hurt on the Peoplemover but I don't think that's why they took it out. I don't think anyone got hurt on Alice. I think they just declared the outside part unsafe. - LaneSparrow316 846.9 #108 4:12PM

The PM had a lot of problems. I think at lease one death, from someone jumping from car to car.
I think it would cost too much money to put the PM back to the way it was.

It was the breaking system. JPL was hired to fix it and they said as long as the track was flat it would have the problems. The sudden acceleration and deceleration caused structural problems on the cars. - splashphotoCM 880.9 #101 12:08AM
Rocket rods did not work because the track could not handle the weight. So the computers kept shutting it down - Fantasmic! fan1
