Question: my SoCal pass expires on March 28, I believe starting tomorrow I can renew my pass and upgrade to a premium...do the benefits start immediately and does my renewal date change?

No your aniversary date stays the same and they will give you your new AP card at the same time. I got mine renewed 3 weeks before the due date, there at the ticket booths and she did the transaction for me and got my new card on the spot and the new card is activated also and your old one becomes deactivated right then and there, but your renew date stays the same, even though i renewed early. - radiodisneytech

Even though your renewal date stays the same, your premium benefits go into effect immediately. :-) I did the same thing in Sept even though my pass didn't expire until Oct. - Mimmy
