World of Color: fast pass vs dining package... (which dining package?

If you choose a dining package for the first show, you may still need line up early. That is if you want a front row view not in the wet section. (learned this the hard way during the busy season, not sure if it's true on a slow day)  - DisneyPhotoFan  871.2 #103 8:30AM
There are two dining packages. One is at Ariels Grotto. Its basically a meal there. Its pricy but if you were gonna eat there already then its better to kill to birds with one stone. Not sure if you need to reserve it or anything. The other dining package are the picnic lunches they sell at the trattoria (sp?), they are cheaper in price but good if you arnt looking to pay alot or want a big meal. Either way the fastpass you get will be for the same reserved section. - Fade2blk  303.0 #595 7:54AM
Both Ariel's Grotto and Wine Country Trattoria offer WOC prix fix meals w preferred viewing passes, in addition to the picnics. All require reservations - MelodyMouse  941.5 #92 7:59AM
