You know when DL first opens and everyone is trying to get through the gates at once?  Well, that's what data is like in any place with a huge number of people.  All of those people are trying to get data off the towers and they can only handle so much.  And since your phone is designed to keep trying to connect to data it'll wear down your battery.  My suggestion is to put your phone in airplane mode unless you actually need to use it so that it doesn't try to connect to anything.  This is especially important when you're on indoor rides like Pirates and Haunted Mansion because you almost never get signal inside there but your phone will keep trying and trying and drain your battery in the process. - goofykriskid  34.8 #4181 3:19AM

I can't recall which MW posted these tips, either BooEve, Jackie or Babaloo. But you should turn off wifi, turn off vibrate, dim screen brightness and disable your apps that you will not be using.
