I thought I would try here to see if anyone can confirm, deny or knows any details about something my friend told me. She said that Tim Burton owns the rights to Jack Skellington (of course!) and he's decided that Disney can no longer sell/ make shirts (assuming everything else too) with Jack on it. Is this true? Does anyone know the story? Or is it not true?

This got burried fast so I thought I would bump. - Autoalice  135.7 #2506 7:20PM
Idk why he would do that all of a sudden? I am sure he makes bank of Disney selling them. - Mrsblue  692.4 #144 7:22PM
Well, we still have all of the NBC merchandise in the park and there was a lot of new stuff that came out this past holiday season with Jack on it. I've heard about this rumor, but don't know if its true. - BaseballMickey_CM  2805.8 #16 7:27PM
I thought it sounded a little odd myself. Why would he allow the entire Haunted Mansion make over but not allow merchandise? But it is a rumor going around then, my friend isnt the only one who's heard it. - Autoalice  135.7 #2506 7:34PM
