Word on the street is WDW is enforcing Fast Pass return times starting March 7. Meaning guests will be allowed to return during the time frame indicated -- not anytime after, which is what the policy is now. thoughts? yay or nay? can any DL CM's confirm or deny?

This really makes the fast passes worthless. All this ends up doing is wasting people's time while in the park. You can't get across the park during things like fireworks or parade times when areas are roped off or you have one way traffic etc. You can not control if you are in line for another attraction and your window happens to come up. You can't control if your child is sleeping or your eating and it's taking a while for everyone to finish your meal. A 1 hour window that isn't until 6 hours later you can not plan well for or you find yourself wasting a ton of time around the attraction waiting for your window with nothing to do. - Autoalice

I guess I can't blame them if they start enforcing it at DLR. It would be nice if they would expand the window to 2 hours instead of 1 hour if they do this. - MrsFletch

Fast passes IMO just hold up the regular line. I don't use them unless I'm w my kids that swear by em. But eh I'm old, time in line is all I got. - 559MickeyLover

WDW wouldnt have a problem with their Space Mountain because there two different loading areas. I would totally believe this if it were starting in Disneyland. But I highly doubt this is actually hoping to happen. - Nyghtngale

I really hope this isn't true. I remember the days of trying to run from one end of DCA to another end of DL and having to rush out of the hotel to try to make the fastpass window, and that wasn't fun. Sometimes you can't help it if you miss the window. - Bo22

I was told by a CM that they were having a big meeting in January to decide on the issue for DL. I am hoping that since they did not annouce it for DL they decided to wait. She said as long as it does not get out of hand at DL, it works well but some people in the company feel that the lines are actually longer for non fast passers if they allow us to come back anytime. I told her it really helps us be able to go to better restaurants, etc., if we know we have some time to get back to a ride. - secretagentangel

Before we knew you could use them the rest of the day we tried to get there in the window. Do you know how many passes we threw out because we couldn't get there or how fast we ran or how long we stood around waiting for our window because we already did that land when getting the passes. With kids this is torture! Telling them we couldn't go on something afterall because we missed the window. Talk about meltdowns!! - Autoalice

I think it would be like now that if the ride breaks down, they will give you your pass back if you are in line or just let you come back later. that happens a lot on Indiana Jones. - secretagentangel
