this might sound dumb but i am really curious to know what the "thanks" button is for. Is it like thanks for posting this or does it have some special hidden meaning? Lol
hmmm I am thinking that he wants us to "like" things diffrently... instead of bumping the funniest comment to the top by having many likes and burrying the real answers he rather us thank the people who give legit responses. I will offically be lossing MW quality points now :( - BooEve123

Maybe its for if you answer a question you can thank the person without replying? Or if a bunch of people have the same question they can just hit the thanks button without having a bunch of people replying saying thanks? Idk that's my guess. - akeleh

@mouse4life: same here. The thanks has replaced the reply button....its driving me nuts lol because there's actually a lot of comments I want to reply to but can't now :/ does anyone know if admin has said anything about this? - akeleh

It's like the 1st 2 comments have the thanks button... Than comments in the middle have Reply... Than the last 2 comments have thanks! I think that's the pattern!! Maybe! - UrsulasTwin
