My husband and I were discussing whether or not there was ever a Tron ride at DL. He was saying yes and I was saying no. Well, he was right!!! He sent me a YouTube link of it from the People Mover ride. You can see it around the 5 min mark from the link below. I watched the whole video which is the entire People Mover ride. I loved seeing how DL used to be, how I remember it as a kid!! I loved seeing the Skyway, the ride talking about Mission to Mars, a clear view of the Hub with out any rockets blocking it and the submarine ride!!! Here is the YouTube link:

I loved this part of the PeopleMover, especially with the wind blowing to make you feel like you were a part of the movie - LBChica

That was a great video! Takes me back to a very cool time in my life. I remember it taking you throughout the Tomorrowland area but almost forgot how close it came to IASW and the old Motorboats. I had to watch the one of Rocket Rods to see if they took the same route, but it isn't. 10 minutes for PM 2.3 minutes for RR. - splashphotoCM

Blast down memory lane for sure! I know it's been debated here many times but it would make sense to use the peole mover track as a Tron based light cycle attraction. - Cricket

I really miss the People Mover. But there was no Tron part. That's the part of the People Mover related to Space Mountain. - SpencerPhreak

Well you both are technically right. There was never an actual Tron ride but there was a Tron portion of the People Mover. It was my favorite part having the light cycles race around as you went through. Kind of felt like you were really there. - KissDclown

I wish they did something with that section in D-Land. I was lucky enough to go on the newer version before they closed them. - crailtap81

THAT is the Tomorrowland I remember from my childhood. I miss some of it. I remember riding the old JTIS (where Star Tours is now), the People Mover, all of it. I still miss America Sings. *hangs head in shame* - ThatKimberly
