*Disney gift ideas please* My 16 yr old cousin is at home on oxygen just sitting there watching TV. I want to buy him something from Disneyland but I don't know what to get. I feel like its kinda my fault he ended up in the ICU unit and now on oxygen since I convinced his Mom to let him and his twin go to Disneyland when it was raining...*sad face*
As a mom, I know I would be blaming myself not my sweet neice who took my kids to DL. I'm sure your aunt feels the same way. She is probably upset with herself as it was HER decision to let her twins go out in bad weather. You are a sweetheart, a great neice and a fabulous cousin. So chin up and whatever you get him, I know he will love! And yes I know it is easier said than done. I, too, am good at feeling guilty over things I have no control over. They both has asthma due to being born at 28 weeks. I signed them in to Disneyland that day back in December when we had thunder and rain. A few days after he got a cold, then it got worst he ended up in ICU. He was discharged a week after Christmas. He went back to ICU 2 weeks ago and just came home a few days ago. It takes more than rainy weather to get sick. Most likely your cousin was already coming down with something and the timing was just bad. Get her a Disney blanket, a disneypillow pet, some hot chocolate, and a good disney movie 😃 - KissDclown

1st of all, cold weather does not put someone in an ICU, it must have been other illnesses building up and unfortunately sprouting at the same time, so it's no ones fault. 2nd, no matter how old you are, i think anyone would love a plush doll to hug :) Hope your cousin feels better - MaidMiriam

You guys you all made me feel better. I talked to my aunt she laughed and said she was upset with herself bc she let them go. not me. I'm getting the Disneyland puzzle, the puzzle glue, the hot chocolate, tea, some movies for him and his twin. The Hubs is also taking my aunt to CompanyD to have her pick up stuff for them. Once I get all the stuff I'll post a picture (at night so it wont spam the lounge) - UncoolBunny

You're so sweet to be concerned, but kids get sick, in good weather or bad, and it's not your fault (unless you coughed or sneezed germs onto him). Hope he gets better soon. My boys had asthma even they were young but pretty much grew out of it. - PrincessKristin 774.5 #125 11:50PM
