So ppl in this world disgust me...firemomof2 had won my Walt Disney pin RAK she received the letter that came with the pin but someone along the way had removed the pin. :( how horrible!

It was a regular envelope. I had sent other RAKs this way and they had no problem..but now I am going to have to send it another way. :( - stitchgrl434

I think it was probably what disneyphotofan said happened to hers, or the pin ripped the envelope and fell out. Padded envelopes or wrapping the item and using a Manila envelope is the way to go. Use plenty of packing tape if not using a padded envelope. - bluefairy 628.8 #176 11:10AM
It's best to not mail pins in any kind of flat envelope...I use to work in a mail plant, and a lot of those thin envelopes go through a machine...it's best to put the pin in a padded envelope...those don't go through a machine...

This happened to me once, but I don't think it was a person that took it in my case. The pin was mailed in a regular envelope. It looked like the USPS machine rolled over it and squirted the pin out. The side of the envelope had a whole but the letter was intact. - DisneyPhotoFan

I swear my mailman must love Disney stuff...I have been sent a few things like a cd from Laurajubee and the stuff never arrived but I received the card she sent separately so we know she had the correct address...it bummed me out because I really wanted the cd. She did offer to send me a new one but I didn't want to risk a second one magically disappearing. - yellowtonka

You must have my mailman because every time I order something from Disney the box vanishes and they never get it back, I even ordered two puffy NASCAR jackets for Christmas presents and never got them once placed in the hands of our post office - cowboygoofy

When we order pins from online i notice the pin comes in a thick zip lock bag, and a padded material wrap around the pin - islandgirl58

Yeah theives will steal stuff out of envelopes or packages. Once my aunt sent me a lot of clothes and they all got stolen on my porch! - princessVanessa
