What was your worst fear as a kid while being at Disneyland? Mine was the haunted mansion elevator getting stuck.

On my one and only childhood visit to DL, I was so afraid of riding Splash Mountain. Being afraid of heights, the drop was too much for me. I cried the whole time in line, when it was time to board - I wouldn't get on. I can't believe my 10 year old self was such a chicken. - Jewelz

Hmmmm I don't think I had a fear when I was a kid, but now the drop on splash mountain freaks me out. I'll ride anything at six flags without a problem but splash mountain makes me very uncomfortable. - yasixtx103

That's actually a good one. But imagine my situation. I lost my 4 year old nephew!! I was holding his hand like a good Uncle, and we were trying to find the rest of our family who had camped a prime spot for one of the Christmas parades. People were so rude!! We literally got walked thru so hard that it broke my grip on his hand and spun me in a circle. It was so crowded that I lost him and was literally getting pushed further and further away. I finally spotted him after searching for at least 4 minutes, I was so scared. He was standing by a cast member about 30 feet from where I got pushed to. - TheBudd 357.3 #395 11:43AM

POTC scared the bejebus out of me at the water battle scene, I always thought it was real and that we were really out in the ocean. And then with rides like BTMRR and Space Mtn, I was always terrified that whichever of my parents was riding with me would go flying out of the car during a sharp turn... lol, those fears stuck with me til I was about 9 years old!! - TheBudd

My fear as a kid was on POTC where we go under one of the tunnels and a pirate is sitting with one of his legs hanging and the foot is all muddy I always got scared that the mud was gonna fall on my head lol... Mr.Toad's Wild Ride their was something about that ride that would scare the bejebus out of me my dad would have to wait outside with me while my mom and sister would get on it and after yrs and yrs of not getting on that ride I got on it about a yr ago on my daughters 6th b-day so far I've been on it twice but if I could skip that ride altogether I would lol - LovelyTiggerGirl

haha, yea it has to be the trip thru Hell. My nephews first time on it, I let him drive. And I just played the part of a nervous passenger. When we got to the part where you are suppose to get hit by the train, I really played the part (probably too well) so when we entered Hell, I told him "Great! Now look where you landed us!" by the time we got off he was bawling his eyes out, poor kid. I felt bad. But dang-it, he's a trooper, every time we go on it, he insists on driving, and is determined to steer clear of the train.
