My daughter wants me to take her to Disneyland today. Should we go or shall I stay home and watch golf all day? Your votes decide!
Please trust me on this one. My daughter is almost 18 and now I am not a hi priority in her life. I miss the times when she was little/ younger. There is nothing in the world that can replace the missed moments with someone you love. What can any sports game on tv can do for you in 5 years. Sitting arround talking with you buddies- Wow, that game 5on years ago really changed my life, did you see how he swang that club? Glad I passed yo the time at Dland with my daughter. I have a better golf swing though..... Im not saying this to belittle you or put down your likes. I love fishing but if my daughter perfers to do something else, well that 5 pounder will waite. I know this because it was ne. DONT LET THIS GET BY YOU! - PinTrader

I was pretty sure mousewait wouldn't let me stay home and watch golf. I just thought it would be fun to ask :) - ghosthost 316.4 #540 12:00PM
You're exactly right PinTrader! My stepsons are 22 - Melliott 299.4 #614 12:19PM

I have to say...I'm 21 and my daddy is my best friend. We've been going to DL ever since I was 3 and I really think its why we have been so close all these years. - AshleyLynn22 747.6 #136 12:59PM
Umm DL!!! It's a state law. I'll report you! - mightymike10

We never know what tomorrow holds for us as evidenced by another mw'er on here that had a serious accident on the way home from dl. For me I always want to make those memories for my kids and grandkids. A golf game or sporting event will always be second place for me. They are insignificant and don't matter much after a few days but the memories you make with your family and friends will be things you treasure and look back on forever. - CaptnSparrow

That's what I thought too! It's like deciding between the dentist and winning a new car! :/ - Melliott 299.4 #614 11:12AM
Lol. I used to work in a golf pro shop, but I've never played a round of golf in my life. There's actually a golf channel, and I had to watch it for 9 hours a day, lol! I get that some people love the sport, but come on! It's DL! - Spoonful_O_Sugar 436.2 #285 11:14AM
I actually like watching golf, but no way would that ever come close to DL for me. - Melliott 299.4 #614 12:18PM
You can watch golf later. Go make memories with your daughter that you both will remember forever. DL ftw! - MsDisneyLove

TAKE HER! The time will come when she will want to be with her friends at the mall or a school dance. They grow up so fast, cherish the time she still wants to do things with daddy - sickboy

A good parent-children bonding moment at the Happiest Place on Earth is WAAAAYYY Better. Also, cherish all the chances while she is still young. - otilegna
