I know it's not Disney related, but I need some positive energy our way. My wife has been receiving chemo and radiation therapy for the last week and needs 7 more weeks of treatment. It's been difficult these last few months, but the only thing that's was keeping her spirits high was taking her to Disneyland 3-4 times a week. My wife loves Disneyland and has been unable to go due to her illness. Thank you guys in advance!

I now how it is, my wife went through treatment 7 years ago. It is tough. She has been clear ever since. Keep a positive attitude it will be over soon and you two will be back at Disney enjoying the parks. You might try Disney park music cd's, that might help her feel like she is in the parks during treatments.

I've been in your shoes. Having to watch someone go through that is really difficult. I did with my mom at age 11. Tell her to stay strong, remind her how beautiful she is, and due your best to remind her that she WILL be able to return to the place she loves once this is over. If she is up to it, trying recreating her favorite park food (such as a dole whip). She needs you to show your love now more than ever. Good luck. My prayers are with you both. - SteamboatMinnie
