So I was thinking. Wondering if anyone would be interested in this. I know that a lot of us are planning on doing the Disney Half in september..... and speaking from personal experience, I have noticed that the part of my training that was the hardest was the long jog on the weekends. I was thinking and wanted to ask, would people be interested in meeting at my place in irvine ( the city of bike/running paths lol) and training on the weekends come closer to the race?
I'm still afraid I couldn't keep up with you! But yes I'd be in. Wasn't mimmy saying she would too? I'm in HB, pending summer weather we could here too. I love getting my exercise in out along the strand. There's free parking by me available most of the time. - 415beachgirl

:( wishing I lived down there! There a great walking path (6 m round trip) by my house. Along a creek - deer, rabbits, turtles in the warmer weather. Feel free to join me anytime - just 1004 miles from Disneyland :) - PrincessKristin

If I was close to you I know me and the wife would meet up but were up in nor cal so well have to fend for our selves I guess..lol. But really would be cool to get walking/ jogging buddies would give me more motivation. - Cricket

Yes, I definitely would! Sat morning is when I did most of my long routes and I often would go to the beach or somewhere scenic. Would be wonderful to have a buddy for those long ones, even if we can't all stick completely together the whole time due to pacing. - Mimmy

That's a great idea! I would love to but the drive is a little too long for me. I live in the San Fernando Valley (LA) so it would be over an hour drive just to get there. I hope the pacing works out for everyone who can make it. - TamiPoppins
