After years of searching for my prince, I was reading my horoscope. It told me "choose the opposite". I started to think about the type of man I was dating... Funny thing was, it was always the same "type" but just in a different package. This very tall, handsome, super educated and kind man kept flirting with me at the hospital....totally not my normal package... But I thought "what the heck" so I asked him to lunch. We have been together for 13 years (married for 9). He IS my Prince Charming, and he treats me like a queen! Think about your past boyfriends, and how they probably had a lot of things in common....choose the opposite of those traits. Every friend that I have given this advice to so far has chosen their prince :) remember... You CAN NOT change someone... If he isn't the right one, move on. It took me 15 years of dating (and marrying) the wrong man to finally being blissfully happy 😍

I met my hubby when I was 23; we started dating when I was 24; and we got married when I was 27. Even though I was out of college when we met, and technically an adult, I still feel like we grew up together. No matter what point in life you meet him, you will feel like you grow up together because as the relationship grows, so will you. :) Plus, when you meet your soulmate, there's something "ancient" there, for lack of a better word: it's as if you've known each other forever.
