Tomorrow I'm taking my son 2 DL 2 prove 2 him that the animals on jungle cruise dnt talk....he thinks they do cause of the commercial...

Thats horrible! Lol. And you like a good mom are going to prove him wrong. Lol. Did you correct him on Santa and Easter Bunny? I still remember my friend's daughter while on vacation worrying that the Easter bunny wouldn't know where to find us. The rest of the older kids kept teasing her and telling her it was an Easter rat. Well we snuck out to get candy for the kids and the next morning, the kids all had shocked looks when they found their baskets by the door. Who knows, tomorrow one of the animals may just talk.lol. Lol....funny while b4 Xmas he had told my mom and I that Santa not real...how can Santa b real if he was old when I was lil he said old people die so mommy there's no Santa....so we were saying he is he's a long leaving person and he has magic....didn't work :( ξ he said dnt trick me there's no magic we try telling him everything so he can believe in Santa....so what we did was we bought him coal and told him c what Santa bought u coal 4 not believing him....he said mommy now I do believe in him cus Santa wants me 2 use this coal so I can cook....my son is only 5 after that he said I don't believe in him - LizElias 9.9 #6814 5:53AM

I love their innocence at that age . Let him believe in what he wants as long as its not hurting him . He'll figure it out when he's ready . They grow up so fast. Then they don't believe in magic anymore. Have a fun day at the park . - sylviamta

What's the difference between the animals talking in the commercial and Mickey talking on tv but not the parks (not the regular Mickey that strolls around)? My daughter is 3 and and enjoys the interaction with Mickey even if he doesn't talk back. Do you also take him on rides to purposely show him the characters in the rides don't talk? True story: I had a friend tell me that the DL characters were just people dressed up when we were about 4. I had never even been to DL at that point and it kinda ruined the magic for me when I did go. That same friend believed in Santa until 5th grade, lol! Not sure how she could recognize that the DL characters were people dressed up and didn't figure out Santa, but whatever, lol. - Spoonful_O_Sugar

Well brad knows nothing is real at Disneyland but when we go with little kids he acts like he believes everything is real. He's 11 and says its so much fun to pretend that everything is real at Disneyland. I lied to brad and he's still ok and doesn't think I am a liar! I couldn't imagine just telling him everything was fake to prove a point. They are in awe of everything then they grow up and realize how much fun it was to "believe" and pass that on! - Minnis2Society
