Disney World or Disney Cruise??? Decisions, decisions... HELP!

Have you been watching the news? Disney World. - MagicalCaprice  480.6 #249 11:34AM
I had finally talked myself into cruises being ok, and then, that happened. 😁 - Sweet_Irish_Cream  2596.0 #20 11:36AM
That accident had everything to do with the captain being an idiot and nothing to do with cruise safety. He is responsible to give the abandon ship order and stay until all guest are off board. He just took off. He also was not on the approved course when they hit that reef. And most appallingly they had not done their lifeboat drill! We did ours on the Disney cruise before we left the dock! - Pixarprincess  531.4 #216 11:41AM
Did you hear the captain took one of the first boats off and left so many to fight for themselves in chaos. I'm happy he's going to jail. - Nyghtngale  547.9 #205 11:41AM
I am just catching up on that story. So so sooo sad. - BooEve123  800.6 #117 11:43AM
Such an idiot. And so very sad for those who didn't make it. What a senseless accident. - Sweet_Irish_Cream  2596.0 #20 11:43AM
The point is, Disney World is superior. - MagicalCaprice  480.6 #249 11:44AM
No I'm sure it is. 😊 - Sweet_Irish_Cream  2596.0 #20 11:46AM
how sad and disgusting at the same time. crew had no idea what to do - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  1803.2 #42 11:55AM
I just want to punch the so called "Captin". What a jerk. - MagicalCaprice  480.6 #249 12:06PM
Well, not being a very manly man, I guess the Captain took the Women and Children first literally. - splashphotoCM  880.9 #102 12:06PM
The parent corporation for that ship is Carnival. They are horrible and I would never cruise with them. I have been on two DCL and I never felt unsafe. - Lelundrial  341.7 #429 12:50PM
What exactly happened? - theRealDisneygirlforevr  175.3 #1926 2:06PM
Agree the disney cruise was SO much better than any other cruise I've been on, in every aspect, safety included - Pixarprincess  531.4 #216 2:08PM
Off the coast of Italy the capital veered off course hitting a reef, the power went out and boat began listing to the side. Regardless of this they kept delaying removing passengers from the sinking ship. Things went downhill from there. People are still missing and the boat is resting on its side in the ocean. The captain has been arrested on multiple charges of manslaughter - Pixarprincess  531.4 #216 2:11PM
Captain not capital - Pixarprincess  531.4 #216 2:11PM
My brother went to school to be a ship captain and is currently working his way up the ladder, and from what I understand cruise ship captains are usually the most unreliable captains - ladylikesdisney  924.7 #94 3:23PM
World. - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  1803.2 #42 11:31AM
Word. - Alicewhoareyou  536.3 #210 11:33AM
Cruise - donnievegas  1127.5 #73 11:35AM
Disney World, then a Disney Cruise. 😉 - Nyghtngale  547.9 #205 11:37AM
Both! Wear yourself out at the parks then relax on a cruise! I loved our land and sea Disney Cruise when I was a teen! - cynDOLEwhip  744.1 #137 11:40AM
We did 5 days at Disney world than 7 on the cruise. We could have done 2 weeks on the cruise there was so much to do. - SteamboatAndy  17.4 #5366 11:44AM
Disney world - MelB  104.8 #2981 12:00PM
Do the cruise! It looks amazing and eat at animation paint restaurant. So cool. - lesley.belle.  261.8 #901 2:59PM
The Animator's Palette is in the normal dining rotation. Do bring a camera to that one. - Lelundrial  341.7 #429 3:17PM
Disney World (my opinion) - JanAriel  8.5 #7340 11:34AM
I believe some of the cruise packages include a couple days in WDW if you leave from Florida...you could do both! =0) - iyuzMickey  509.7 #231 11:35AM
I know I saw that but is a couple of days enough to get the full experience there? - GoofyFace  18.0 #5286 11:37AM
Disney World! 👍 ✨°O°✨ - LMAO-Asturi  173.2 #1954 11:36AM
Cruise - Pixarprincess  531.4 #216 11:38AM
The cruise is fun, but a lot of the activities are for kids and teens. For adults Its good if you like sun bathing and learning to fold towels into animal shapes. I'd say go to disney world, more to see and do. - BlackCanary86  40.9 #3976 11:38AM
There was TONS to do on the Disney dream for adults! I spent less than 2 hours sitting by the pool on the whole trip - Pixarprincess  531.4 #216 11:42AM
no casinos on disney ships; i'm not a serious gambler, but my husband and i enjoyed the cheapy slots after dinner on cruise we went on - ima-pirateswife  432.4 #290 11:42AM
woah reallly :( I understand why not but same here I loved walking by the roulette table and throwing 5 down on black :-D - BooEve123  800.6 #117 11:45AM
A whole $5 Boo! - donnievegas  1127.5 #73 11:49AM
Disneyworld it's amazing and a incredible experience - MikaDreamsEverythingDisney  249.1 #1023 11:44AM
You changed you profile pic, MISTER APRIL!!!! - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  1803.2 #42 11:58AM
the month, that is. - HandMeAChurroImmaFaint  1803.2 #42 11:59AM
I suggest going to Disney World. Both seem to be wonderful, but Disney World has so much to offer, and although the cruise has plenty to offer as well, the fact remains that Disney World has **more** to offer. I went in 1997 before they added the Animal Kingdom and plenty more. Even still, I felt like I wouldn't be able to see even half of it. Turns out, it took one week to see the majority of it. So I would personally choose WDW. I'm sure you'll have lots of fun either way though! - nappyrocks2  5.9 #9181 11:59AM
It depends on what you like to do. If you love the sea and beach, go to cruise... If you love rides, go for WDW... If you choose WDW, go there when they have a special events (christmas time is awesome!) - otilegna  883.1 #101 12:12PM
I would say wdw, but you can do a land and sea thing when you do both, if you do go to wdw post pics on the wdw side, if you can't do both then go to wdw! - nodell111  153.3 #38 12:15PM
We've done the cruise/WDW twice (anyone remember The Big Red Boat?!). We hit WDW first, then relaxed on the cruise. - Gia  785.7 #121 12:17PM
Thats easy WDW. - Motorboatrider  37.8 #4074 12:19PM
Disney world! - JazzSingingMermaid  338.6 #439 12:47PM
How about WDW this year and DCL next year? For one thing it is best to reserve your stateroom a year in advance for DCL. The room you want might already be gone. - Lelundrial  341.7 #429 12:52PM
Thanks everyone for the input it's making the decision much easier. ;) - GoofyFace  18.0 #5286 12:54PM
Both! In June, my family will be doing a week at WDW, 5 nights on the Dream, another week at WDW. The best part about DCL is the interest free financing. - 415beachgirl  469.0 #261 2:05PM
If your taking the cruise from California then my vote go to WDW. - Bambi.  595.2 #185 2:08PM
Cruise! They are so much fun and all-inclusive. - MXPrincess399  482.1 #246 2:12PM
We are doing the 3 day Disney cruise to Bahamas to get married then go to disneyworld after we return to port for like 4 days. I wanted to do the alaska but then I looked it up and the boat that goes in ca dosnt have any of the fun watersides and water activities.. So that's what sold me on fl. We took it as if we're spending that much to fly to Florida we should just go to disneyworld.. Can't wait!! Hth - jeanicej  9.6 #6911 2:12PM
Ok more seriously though what cruise vs wdw and what time of year? - Pixarprincess  531.4 #216 2:12PM
The price of cruises might go down - Mouse4life  1085.8 #78 2:15PM
I hope so I have fun on cruises! - donnievegas  1127.5 #73 2:23PM
I haven't done either. But I'm going in March and would like to do both. - splashphotoCM  880.9 #102 2:32PM
Cruise!!!!!!! It's soooo beautiful and you'll have a great time! - lil2sweet4u  4.6 #11417 3:21PM
